<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> <span style="font-size: 24pt;">W</span>ith National Signing Day just behind us, the majority of prospects from the magnolia state have thoughtfully decided which universities they would wish to attend this fall. Many of these athletes have entered into a time in life where off the field decisions dealing with football have finally dwindled down to a minimum, allowing these guys to enjoy the rest of their senior year. National signing day is one of the biggest days in a young athletes life. It is the day, for many student-athletes, that all of the hard work and sacrifices that they make behind the scenes are finally publicized in the form of signing a national letter of intent. </span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">This article will inform you of a few notable Mississippi student athletes that made the decision to sign with a university in the state of Mississippi and stay home. Again, this list is compiled of only offensive signees. There will be a similar </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">list of defensive signees of the same caliber released in the near future.</span> </span>

The signing of 3 explosive offensive threats and capturing a plug and play offensive tackle will prove to be fruitful for Mississippi State in years to come.</span></li>

Their current roster, overall, is loaded with talent that leads a promising future, but the explosiveness and production of the "Nasty Wide-out" group has slightly fallen from what we’re used to seeing. With Matt Corral and Dontario Drummond entering the draft, the rebels are looking for contributors and offensive leaders hat will step in and make an immediate impact.</li>

<li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Golden Eagles’ Head Coach, Will Hall, is looking to give his program an entire face lift. Hall hopes to revamp the current outlook of the program internally, by retooling his roster with in-state guys. The impetus of this change is heavily reliant on player development and his staff. By recruiting guys from within the magnolia state, Hall is bringing in guys who want to play at home, while building something bigger than themselves. This change of pace is exactly what Southern’s 2022 National Signing Day class reflects.</span></li>

<li>With the hiring of head coach Deion Sanders, Jackson State University has recently encountered an unfamiliar spot in the sports media spotlight. The hiring has improved the program, city, and university as a whole. Coach Prime has taken his program’s recruiting in a slightly different direction by recruiting highly ranked and followed talent from stated across the nation. The lone in state offensive recruit added to this year’s roster is a transfer, OT Christian Henderson, who will likely be a plug and play guy for the tigers this fall.</li>

<li>The Braves added their linemen group with the signing of interior offensive lineman, [player_tooltip player_id="118961" first="Connor" last="Foy"]. Foy is a center, whom was key piece to his offensive line group at pearl. He is smart kid who will need just a little sharpening technique wise, but he will be a starter for the braves before long barring injury or relocation.</li>
