Two Orange County stars from the Trinity League announced their commitments to Portland State this week.
Orange Lutheran (Anaheim) quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25295" first="Logan" last="Gonzalez"] committed to Portland State after visiting recently. He finished the season second in the state in passing yards with 3,975 yards and had 47 touchdowns with just seven interceptions.
Gonzalez also had offers from Nevada, San Diego and Lehigh. His teammate <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="253285" first="Anthony" last="Tena"]</strong> went on the visit with Gonzalez to Portland State and also committed there.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana) athlete [player_tooltip player_id="25281" first="Quincy" last="Craig"] also committed to Portland State this week.
Craig is the epitome of a jack-of-all-trades-type of player. As a running back, he scored touchdowns on one-third of his carries. He had four receiving touchdowns, four pass deflections and a forced fumble on defense, and had 423 yards as a kick returner with a touchdown.
He had offers from Arizona State, Montana State and Utah State but Portland State pushed hard for him late.

Lincoln (San Diego) defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id="186990" first="Kendall" last="Williams"] announced his commitment to Washington State this week.
Williams only played in six games this past season and had 9 tackles with a sack and two hurries. He visited Washington State last weekend and committed on Sunday.
Nevada, Morgan State and Idaho also offered the 6-foot-4, 285 pound interior defensive lineman. He previously was committed to Nevada.

Alemany (Mission Hills) running back [player_tooltip player_id="25290" first="Floyd" last="Chalk"] committed to Grambling State on Monday.
Chalk was one of the top running backs in the Southern Section with 1799 yards rushing on 196 carries with 27 touchdowns.
Grambling State offered Chalk on Jan. 16 and he took a visit last weekend. Hawaii offered him on Monday but he committed later that day.
He is the third player from California in the 2022 class to commit to Grambling State, joining [player_tooltip player_id="141909" first="Elijah" last="Young"] and [player_tooltip player_id="253254" first="Tyson" last="Bordeaux"].

Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth) defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id="141903" first="Hunter" last="Lysholm"] committed to the University San Diego on Thursday.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound lineman had 17 tackles with three for a loss for the Trailblazers this past season.
He chose San Diego over Columbia, Michigan State and Oregon State.
San Diego has had a very successful recruiting month, also landing local San Diego stars [player_tooltip player_id="142012" first="Xavier" last="Van"] (Helix) and [player_tooltip player_id="253228" first="Conor" last="Lawlor"] (Scripps Ranch).

Class of 2024 receiver [player_tooltip player_id="115473" first="Jason" last="Robinson JR"] from Long Beach Poly has picked up offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Cincinnati and TCU recently.
The sophomore had 1,007 yards receiving last season with 12 touchdowns on 63 catches, all were team-highs for the CIF-SS Division 4 champions.
Robinson is verbally committed to USC but is up to 9 offers now. He was named to the Cal-Hi Sports All-State sophomore team last week.
