Part 2 of the top rushers and run stoppers in the Houston area. The big fellas up front deserve love for all that they do and what they blow up. Below are more seniors who left their marks on the field by their outstanding play on the line.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><strong>Jacoby Brass - North Shore</strong></em></span></span>
Quick off the ball and a player who lives in the backfield, Brass looked very well his senior season. Used his length to keep blockers off and showed incredible pursuit. Brass was a major part in the teams’ state championship run and Houston Baptist have a stud coming in to ball.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Luke Roaten - Tomball</strong></span></em></span>
Roaten showed that he is an active lineman who uses his hands extremely well off of the snap. He displayed a powerful punch as well as a violent rip to free himself from blocks. Roaten made a living chasing down opposing quarterbacks and was an absolute disruptor in the run game.

A long athlete who used his reach to get to quarterbacks, Wright was a hunter. Excellent jump off the ball and his long strides covered much ground that it made it easy to make plays from the back side. Wright showed great agility and made it extremely difficult for offensive linemen to get a hold off. Watch out for him at the next level, especially with more weight on.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Landen Suarez - Jersey Village</strong></span></em></span>
Suarez was lethal off of the edge. Great get off and used his quickness to get passed bigger linemen. Suarez showed very good skill getting to the quarterback and never gave up on plays. He usually found his way back to his rush lane and forced negatives plays over and over again.

Dubose was a gritty player who did not allow much to get in his way to making a play. Dubose used physicality and a great reach to get to the ball and he looked good doing so. He showed that he is an excellent contain man who does not give up until the whistle is blown. Dubose showed that he could change a game when he’s on one!
