5. [player_tooltip player_id="261825" first="Remi" last="Baere"], Torrey Pines
He plays in a double-wing system that doesn’t always translate to the next level but he has some tools. He has a good grasp of the offense, makes good decisions with the football and played well against quality opponents. He has a solid arm that is pretty accurate and athleticism. He doesn’t have any offers yet but has drawn interest from San Diego State and Dartmouth.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="144910" first="Dylan" last="Curry"], Poway
Curry is one of the smoothest guys in the pocket in San Diego. He looks very comfortable, has good footwork and keeps his eyes down the field even when under pressure. He is accurate to all three levels of the field and has a nice touch on the deep balls he throws. He sometimes gets a little risky with the football but all the tools are there for him to be a solid quarterback at the next level. Curry doesn’t have any offers but has gotten some attention from Ivy League schools.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="2472" first="Samuel" last="Cooper"] IV, University City
Cooper transferred from Lincoln to University City and had a nice transition. He looked a little bigger, adjusted to the offense well and played some linebacker. He had a monster season throwing for 2,343 yards and 27 touchdowns. He also ran for 1,266 yards and 24 touchdowns. He is fast and hard to bring down as a runner and throws a nice deep ball. Cooper has an offer from Black Hills State.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="145214" first="Dominic" last="Nankil"], Mater Dei Catholic
When Nankil got an offer from New Mexico State before even starting a game, I was skeptical. After seeing how he ran the Mater Dei offense this year, I get it. He is one of the most accurate passers in San Diego and extends plays with his legs. He threw for 3427 yards with 38 touchdowns and just four interceptions for the undefeated Crusaders. His accuracy on the intermediate routes brings the defense up and he has the arm strength to hurt teams deep.

1. [player_tooltip player_id="145247" first="Jax" last="Leatherwood"], Scripps Ranch
Leatherwood is 6-foot-6, has the best arm in the county and led his team to a championship. He completed 69 percent of his passes for 3915 yards and 52 touchdowns with just two interceptions. He reminds me a lot of Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. Elite arm talent, moves well and can make throws from different arm angles. I think Leatherwood is a Power 5 quarterback and I would expect some FBS schools to offer him soon.
