Orlando was a game wrecker for the Vikings and led the state in tackles for defensive linemen with 94 and second-most tackles for loss with 26. Despite still being a little raw, he is already showing the signs of being an elite DL talent. Hernandez is a phenomenal talent that pops on the field with his hard-hitting tackles, non-stop motor, and athleticism. Hernandez can use his strength and speed to overwhelm his opponents at the point of attack, add in a quick first step, and you have a dangerous player. When you watch Orlando’s tape, you will see several plays where he not only comes from the backside to make a play but will chase the ball-carrier several yards downfield to make the tackle. Koren played a crucial part in the Star’s defensive success in 2021 by contributing 89 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. He was a menace against opposing run games as he seemed to be all over running backs before they could gain any momentum. Koren is a lean DL prospect that destroys with his explosiveness and ability to react to plays in an instant. Conrad also does an excellent job disengaging from his blocks and closing space between him and the ball carrier. In 2021, Omar accumulated 44 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and a sack. Jackson is a versatile defensive lineman who can line up in several techniques. generate a great push, and uses his leverage to shed his blocks. He is a powerful player that plays with violent hands and keeps his legs pumping while working his way into the backfield. Hall racked up 66 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and recovered a fumble during his senior year. Hall was constantly right in the thick of the action, and if the play call went the other way, he made sure he got there in a flash. Cody uses his leaner frame to make himself small when sliding past lineman but can also put all his force into his hits. When he reaches the ball carrier, he is a solid tackler that uses his length well to wrap up and drive his opponent to the ground. He plays with the same pop and viciousness that he uses on the DL on the offensive line. Hall plays until the sound of the whistle, and if you find yourself in his grasp, he's going to make sure you end up on your back.
