A natural corner, Carr is a very balanced player with outstanding ball skills in the open field with nice high point ability and strong hands in traffic. Fluid in transition and breaking well to ball carriers, he brings a nice pop upon contact and runs through contact on the first two levels while not afraid to drop into the box and play tough against run support. His speed, range and high football IQ allow him to play and cover the entire field if needed and he shows active hands when pressed and understands zone responsibilities. A very intriguing prospect, he has the tools to make a impact at the next level.
<em><strong>Dexter Francis III, Mountain House HS</strong></em>
The 2022 multi-sport athlete did not disappoint this fall, hauling in 8 interceptions on the year and making a huge impact as a receiver. He is a long and explosive player with the ball in his hands and flashes nice long speed and contact balance in traffic while very physical downfield. Able to win on jump balls in the end-zone and uses his frame to box out defenders, he can play on either side of the ball at the next level. Playing mostly safety on defense, Francis has tremendous range and forces quarterbacks into bad throws with his ball skills, long speed and overall field awareness.
<em><strong>Miguel Berrios, Sunny Hills HS</strong></em>
Only a Junior, Berrios was one of the top INT leaders in the golden state and will be back for another year in 2022. On film, he is able to play both in the slot and outside while athletic enough to cover vertical and physical enough to cover bigger receivers in the slot. Showing a fluid back pedal, he breaks well to ball carriers without giving false steps and is a sure tackler outside the tackles while able to take on blocks and trigger quickly.
