The 2025 defensive backs have the potential to explode on to the scene over the next few years. We are going to take a look at some defensive backs to watch out for over the next few years.
Omarion Robinson Omarion Robinson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR -Little Rock Parkview-6’0” 175-Pounds
Robinson has a nose for the football and excellent speed. Two great reasons why the Arkansas Razorbacks have already extended a scholarship offer to Robinson. Robinson can play both the safety and the cornerback spots. He has the speed to be disruptive at both positions. Robinson does not shy away from making tackles and he can be a force on the defensive side of the ball. Look for Robinson to play on Saturdays in the future, he is an extremely talented player.

The Fayetteville Bulldogs seem to always have talented players that lurk in the defensive secondary. Taylor is another one of those players that can play either the safety or the cornerback position with equal effectiveness. He does a good job of anticipating the opposing quarterback’s throws. Taylor has the potential to be a defensive back that opposing offenses try to avoid in the passing game. Keep an eye on this Fayetteville Bulldog, he has the potential to become a dangerous defensive back to target in the passing game.

Michael Hayes Michael Hayes 5'10" | 155 lbs | DB Joe T. Robinson | 2025 State AR has terrific speed at the cornerback position. However, he can use that speed on the offensive side of the ball as well. Hayes has the speed to hang with any wide receiver and will not be beat deep. College scouts will enjoy the amount of versatility that Hayes has on both sides of the ball. Hayes has the hands to pick off passes and take them back the opposite direction. Look out for Hayes his combination of speed and good hands make him a prospect to watch out for this offseason.
Jonathan Frost Jonathan Frost 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Maumelle | 2025 State AR -Bryant-5’9” 150-Pounds
Frost is another talented cornerback in the Bryant secondary that can separate the ball from the wide receiver. Frost has good speed and can annoy opposing wide receivers how physical he will play. The Bryant defensive back has the hands to be disruptive to an opposing passing game. The Bryant defense is always an impressive unit and Frost brings a good mix of talent and speed to the secondary. Frost has the potential to terrorize 7-A opponents for the next several years.

Wimberly is the kind of player that plays with a chip on his shoulder. In the secondary, he has the physical playing style of a safety. Wimberly will hit the opposing wide receiver hard and separate the ball from the ball carrier. He has the good hands to play the cornerback as well and he is a playmaker on both sides of the ball. Wimberly is going to be a player that coaches and scouts will want to keep an eye on over the next few years.
