We unveiled our updated Class of 2023 rankings earlier this week, which includes 200 ranked prospects and more than 400 total prospects including the Watch List.

There are 22 wide receivers in the top 200 and 61 wide receivers overall for the Class of 2023 in Missouri in the Prep Redzone database. Today we are taking a closer look at the top five. (Click on the player names to check out their prospect pages on PRZ, including links to their HUDL highlights.)
<strong>1. [player_tooltip player_id="99468" first="Jaidyn" last="Doss"], Raymore-Peculiar</strong>
Doss, a 6-foot, 200-pounder, checks in as the No. 8 overall prospect in the Class of 2023 following his breakout performance as a sophomore in leading Ray-Pec to the state championship and then a strong junior campaign this fall.
A versatile weapon in the pass game and the run game, Doss snagged 26 catches for 426 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 338 yards and three scores. He added one punt return touchdown for eight total touchdowns in nine games.
Doss has already received scholarship offers from Kansas, Iowa State, Missouri, Kansas State, Nebraska, TCU, Michigan, Colorado, Michigan State, Minnesota and Illinois.
<strong>2. [player_tooltip player_id="37690" first="Joshua" last="Manning"], Lee's Summit</strong>
A 6-3, 190-pounder who also excels in track (jumps), Manning is a hot prospect after a breakout junior campaign and moved up to No. 12 overall in Missouri's junior class. He's got a unique combination of size, speed and athleticism for the wide receiver position, which will make him a big-time target for college coaches.
Manning recorded 69 catches for 900 yards and 12 total touchdowns in 10 games this fall after finishing second in the Missouri Class 5 long jump (7.16 meters) as a sophomore the previous spring.
Since the start of his junior season, Manning has received scholarship offers from Kansas State, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Wisconsin and Northwestern.
<strong>3. [player_tooltip player_id="37684" first="Chase" last="Hendricks"], St. Mary's </strong>
Hendricks, a 5-11, 185-pounder, is the No. 16 overall prospect in Missouri in the Class of 2023 and helped lead the talented Dragons to their first state championship this fall. He was St. Mary's second-best receiver behind top 2022 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="37523" first="Kevin" last="Coleman"], who recently committed to Jackson State.
Hendricks finished his junior campaign with 26 receptions for 576 yards, averaging 22.2 yards per catch, and 13 touchdowns.
He has reported offers from Arizona State, Kansas, Purdue, Texas, Iowa State and Wyoming.
<strong>4. [player_tooltip player_id="177902" first="Ricky" last="Ahumaraeze"], Liberty (KC)</strong>
A breakout performer like Manning who has become a hot prospect with college coaches, Ahumaraeze is a 6-4, 195-pounder who also played defensive back this fall. He is the No. 17 overall prospect in the Class of 2023.
Ahumaraeze snagged 35 receptions for 556 yards and five touchdowns during his junior season and also recording 74 tackles, five pass break-ups and team-best three interceptions from his free safety spot.
Ahumaraeze, who is also a track athlete, has received offers from Kansas State, Kansas and Iowa.
<strong>5. [player_tooltip player_id="37669" first="Fredrick" last="Moore"], Cardinal Ritter</strong>
Moore, a 6-1, 180-pounder, is a playmaking Division I prospect for a talented Ritter squad and the No. 19 overall prospect in the junior class.
Moore was credited with 41 receptions for 1,010 yards and 12 total touchdowns, including three return scores, this fall — leading the Lions in each category.
Moore has reported offers from Kansas, Maryland, Arkansas State, Arkansas, Iowa State, Miami-Ohio and Illinois.
