There are some big-time highly recruited prospects and several sleeper prospects that should all be getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Wansley Jeanty- Glades Central High
5’11 200lbs
Jeanty is a very good prospect for Glades Central. He could play multiple positions at the next level. He finished the season with 127 tackles, a whopping 25 tackles for loss, three sacks, and 2 ints. He’s extremely active and flies all over the field, shows very good burst off the snap rushing the passer, and has sideline-to-sideline speed (4.7 40). Coaches check him out!

Cortland Mitchell, LB- Osceola (Seminole) High
6’1 208lbs
Mitchell once again had an outstanding season for Osceola High. He ended the season registering 139 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 1int and a sack. Mitchell’s has good instincts and flows fast (4.6 40) to the football, shows the ability to drop in coverage and play passing lanes and jump routes, read run quickly and shows no hesitation attacking downhill. Currently holds several small school offers.

Logan Fikar, LB- Gaither High
6’1 215lbs
Fikar was the best linebacker on a very good Gaither High defense in 2021. He finished the season with 96 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He does a great job setting the edge and uses his hands to disengage blocks and gets to the ball. Good tackler that brings violent intentions. Shows a good closing burst (4.7 40). He’s an outstanding student with a 3.51 GPA. He’s an under-the-radar player that coaches need to check out.

Rhet Conyers, LB- Plant City High
6’0 210lbs
Conyers had a very good senior season leading Plant City High in tackles with 117, he added 15 tackles for loss, and 1 sack. He’s a nice prospect that is a downhill linebacker that reads plays quickly and gets to the ball, does a good job scraping and sifting through traffic to make tackles, he does a good job squaring up and driving the ball carrier. He’s an extraordinary student with a 5.1 GPA!

Theotis Smith, LB- Zephyrhills High
6’1 235lbs
Smith is a player that I’ve spotlighted in the past. He had a very good season for Zephyrhills High finishing with 89 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 3 sack, and seven fumble recoveries. Smith is a first team all-county player that has terrific size and measurables for a college linebacker prospect, he does a very good job of diagnosing plays and getting to the football, he’s a big-play linebacker that consistently made splash plays.
