On Saturday December 18th, 2021 I went to Dallas, TX to watch the UIL 6A Division II State Championship High School football game at The AT&T Stadium. This game was between The Austin Westlake Chaparrals (16-0) vs The Denton Guyer Wildcats (14-2). During the 1st half both teams were evenly matched. However, during the 3rd quarter Austin Westlake was finally warmed up. Austin Westlake conquered both the 3rd and 4th quarter. This led to the final scored being 21-40 with The Austin Westlake Chaparrals going undefeated and becoming the 6A Division II State Champions. Although, Denton Guyer lost they had a lot of standouts on both sides of the ball. I will be discussing all of Denton Guyer’s standouts on both offense and defense.

Guyer Offense

#11 [player_tooltip player_id="131814" first="Jackson" last="Arnold"] QB Jr 6’2 200 lbs

[player_tooltip player_id="131814" first="Jackson" last="Arnold"] is always taking full advantage of every situation.
