The defensive backs and offensive linemen in the latest 2024 rankings update showed promise during the 2021 season, bringing the physicality and toughness that you want to see at the position. And they’re only going to improve with time.
Let’s take a look at a few of them based on what we were able to gather after watching the film:

Hall is an aggressive, downhill safety who excels at making tackles against the run. He made several tackles on some critical 4th down situations from what we saw on his film. He demonstrates good technique in reacting quickly to cut the runner off before they can turn the corner. You’ll also see him line up at wide receiver and make plays in the short passing game in space.
[player_tooltip player_id="267473" first="Courtlyn" last="Brunson"] (@BrunsonCourtlyn), 6-0, 170 lbs., DB, Trinity Collegiate (@TCS_football)
Brunson was one of three underclassmen starters for the Titans in 2021. He hauled in 2 interceptions, which was good for 8th among the South Carolina Independent Schools Association in the Pee Dee Region.
Braydn Kesselring, 6-3, 260 lbs., OL, Midland Valley (@MVHS_FB)
Updated Sophomore Hudl Highlight Film
Kesselring is described as a lineman who finishes blocks, and there’s no doubt the film backs up that statement. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty with opposing defensive lineman with his excellent leg drive, not allowing any penetration.
[player_tooltip player_id="267460" first="Jaderrio" last="Lott"] (@LJaderrio), 6-2, 300 lbs., OL, Summerville (@SummervilleFB)
Lott is not as big on the offensive line at his tackle position. But he is a polished lineman who can move people off the ball with solid hand usage.
[player_tooltip player_id="267451" first="D’Arcii" last="Smith"], 6-5, 295 lbs., OL, Summerville (@SummervilleFB)
Smith has a huge frame at 6-5 and reminds you of a lumberjack with his ability to move people off the ball. You can certainly see the young man’s potential when you turn on the film.
