Rk. #7| [player_tooltip player_id="184007" first="Rushaun" last="Tongue"] | 6’2 177lbs | Chesapeake
Offers: Rice, Virginia, Boston College
Tongue exploded onto the scene and had a monster year. Very dangerous athlete who affects the game in every aspect. His film really speaks for itself and is the most impressive out of this group outside the top 5 DB’s. All of these DB’s can cover pretty well but what separates Rushaun is that he brings the boom behind his hits. He’s versatile in the defensive backfield playing Safety and corner and is a deep ball weapon on offense. Tongue is also a two-sport athlete playing basketball during the winters, definitely a guy to keep a close eye on this offseason.

Rk. #2 ATH | [player_tooltip player_id="140387" first="Tavin" last="Willis"] | 5’11 180 | Fort Hill
Offers: None
Willis is one heck of an athlete and just a downright football player, he can do it all. Good ball skills at receiver, relentless defender in coverage and pursuit, and he's an explosive ball carrier. He's listed as an Athlete because you can put him at either position and he'll start for just about every team in the state. He's already received D1 interests from schools such as Marshall, Minnesota, Columbia, Dartmouth, and Navy. Willis is one of the select players to receive an invite to the All-American Bowl National Combine at the Cowboy's stadium this weekend.

Rk. #8 | [player_tooltip player_id="90660" first="KP" last="Price"] | 6’2 180lbs | Calvert Hall
Offers: West Virginia, Syracuse, Toledo, Boston College
KP lived up to the hype and beyond this season. Going into 2021 Price was recognized as a rare athlete after playing a solid roll on the Calvert Hall’s defense as a freshmen in 2019. In 2020 the offers started to pick up for Price after he attended a WVU prospect camp, but a lingering injury didn’t allow him to finish his camp season. 2021 he went into the season healthy and helped lead the cardinals to a MIAA Championship. Price has the frame for a D1 safety, he’s long, rangy, is a great addition in run support.

Offers: None
With the 2020 season cancelled Davis really made a statement during 7-on-7 and camp season. What stood out early was his range and ball skills. He really caught my attention when he caught a crazy 1 hand INT at the East Coast Volt 7v7 showcase in 2020. Since then, he’s continued to prove to be one of the Top DB’s in the state. At the MSJ vs Spalding game late in the season he impressed with his effort. Even though the game was blowout win for Spalding, Davis made 3 stops in the row in the redzone, late in the game. That is exactly what you want from a defensive player at any position.

Rk. #13 [player_tooltip player_id="248403" first="Shajuan" last="Rice"] |6’2 170lbs | Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
Offers: None
Rice is one of those players who is freakishly athletic. He can simply run faster and jump higher than anybody in MIAA B conference. Rice is a true DB who just so happened to try wide receiver and became one of the best in the league. Behind his performance with the help of his teammates at Mt. Carmel, he led the cougars to their first ever MIAA B Championship in the schools very first year having a football team. With the team of coaches around this athlete, Coach Redd former Toledo and Rutgers DB coach as his head coach and former New Mexico cornerback Coach Nias Martin, his ceiling is very high. He’s a very aggressive DB and loves competition. He’s another player I had the opportunity to evaluate at the East Coast Volt 7v7 showcase this year. It’ll be a sight to see he and Davis team up this offseason. Rice earned an invite from the All-American Game on ABC to attend the National Combine at Dallas Cowboys Stadium later this week.

Rk. #14 [player_tooltip player_id="249919" first="Jamari" last="Lewis"] |6’0 170lbs | Franklin
Offers: None
Here we have our biggest stock riser out of this group. His film is entertaining, his team is always among the top programs in the state, and he has shown growth since we last evaluated him. Lewis caught my attention for the first time back on JV in 2019 as one of the more dominant kids on the field. During the 2020 cancelled season I attended a local high school 7-on-7 tournament, "Let It Fly 7v7" where I witnessed, he and current teammate M. Workman dominate competition as they went on to win a championship. Lewis is a true safety who patrols center field and when the ball is in the air, he comes down with it and always turns it into positive yards for his team. Jamari is also a key component on the Franklin track relay teams. During the 2020-2021 outdoor track season he helped lead his team to State Championships in the 4 by 100-meter relay and 4 by 200-meter relay.

Rk. #15 [player_tooltip player_id="248539" first="Tony" last="Hart"] | 6’2 185lbs | Dunbar
Offers: None
Hart is another athlete who was a force on both sides of the ball this past season. He plays receiver and safety and displays superior ball skills at both positions. He has that Dunbar Poet aggressiveness and grit coming out of the legendary Dunbar program. On defense he has a knack for INT’s and is great in run support. At 6’2/6’3 185lbs he has the frame to become a real tackling force at the next level, perfect for a coach that wants a big safety on their defense. Hart’s performance helped lead Dunbar to their 10th State Title. This past season he's been on unofficial visits to Pitt, and Penn State.
