Our first showcase in Prep Redzone Pennsylvania’s history is fast approaching. Here’s what to expect content and evaluation-wise from any content posted by myself. I’m looking forward to seeing all prospects who have signed up. We are appreciative of every player who wants to invest in themselves and compete in front of college coaches. Here are some of the seniors who have taken advantage of the opportunity.
Below are quick evals along with standout traits for each prospect.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Mekhi Smallwood | 5’11, 180 | DB | Roman Catholic</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Physicality through catching point / in run support.</span>
We’ll let recruiters decide whether they prefer Smallwood in coverage or in run support at safety. I know he can excel in both areas. His film starts off with brilliant PBU’s, ends with some great downhill tackling from single high.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Thomas Smid | 6’0, 220 | OL/DL | Upper Dublin</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Second-level locating / D-line & O-line position versatility</span>
Every program could use a kid like this in the trenches. Multiple alignments along both offensive and defensive lines. Maximum effort player. Polished run-blocker, some solid pass-pro reps against live action.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149985" first="Carter" last="Speyerer"] | 6’1, 200 | QB/ATH | Daniel Boone</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Downfield/vertical accuracy</span>
Tough season that was full of promise, cut short by injury. Believe his best years are ahead of him. Have seen him work tirelessly to stay in shape and stay polished. Love his vision downfield.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="118773" first="Bo" last="Swartz"] | 6’2, 195 | QB | West Shamokin</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Natural Play-Making ability</span>
Might be the best play-maker on this list. I trust Bo to go through his reads, make good decisions and turn nothing into something if he has to. Leader on the field through his play.

<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Hunter Johnson | 6’1, 290 | OL/DL | King George</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Block finishing / Upper Body strength.</span>
An out-of-state player whose film is new to me. Happy to see him take advantage of this opportunity. Violent/punishing finisher. Boasts awesome upper body strength.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Michael McGhee | 6’0, 190 | LB/RB | Germantown Academy</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Off-edge/Overall pursuit</span>
An unranked player who is certainly deserved of being ranked on the 2022 list. Has some quality runs and blocks on offense, but makes a real impact coming off the edge for Germantown.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="243563" first="Frankie" last="Morrone"] | 6’0, 190 | QB | Williamsport Area</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Natural Arm talent / throw-on-the-run</span>
Has some wow-throws on the run. Effortless thrower. Not just an ATH behind center. Slightly undersized but worth a shot thanks to his natural arm talent.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="243486" first="Acen" last="Brode"] | 5’11, 170 | WR | Milton Hershey</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Downfield Ball Tracking / Vertical Separation</span>
Watch his entire tape. Has some quality catches even towards the end of the film. Is often open downfield, does a great job separating vertically. Effort blocker. Active in the screen game as well.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Kerry Burns Jr. | 6’0, 190 | QB | Theodore Roosevelt</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Prototypical mechanics/footwork, release</span>
Another out-of-state prospect whose film really intrigues me. Impresses from a mechanical standpoint. Good release, feet match his eyes. His work pre-snap allows him to be on time and in rhythm when attacking all areas of the field.

<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27645" first="Levi" last="Carroll"] | 6’4, 180 | WR | North Penn</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Catch Radius / Stride-for-size</span>
A lot to love when plugging in Carroll’s tape. I have written about the kid’s game in-depth on multiple occasions. Can high-point, can locate the ball well, awesome overall hands. One of the best unsigned/offered senior wideouts in PA.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="243272" first="Trenton" last="Carter"] | 6’2, 185 | QB/LB | Carmichaels</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Standout Trait: Dual-threat ability / Athleticism / Production</span>
Awesome production out of [player_tooltip player_id="243272" first="Trenton" last="Carter"]. 1000-1000 club member. A true dual-threat prospect who can surely carve out a role at a collegiate program in some way or another. Football acumen is high. Carter also contributes on defense, he can do it all.
