When you talk about wide receivers in the 2022 Class, it must start with the two guys that have signed with Clemson – Myrtle Beach’s <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="59464" first="Adam" last="Randall"]</strong> and Dutch Fork’s <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="61070" first="Antonio" last="Williams"]</strong>. But those two aren’t the only talented pass-catchers in South Carolina.
Here is a look at Randall and Williams plus a slew of other guys that deserve to be on the All Hands Team.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="59464" first="Adam" last="Randall"]</strong>, Myrtle Beach
Randall capped his final season with the Seahawks with 1,267 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also played Wildcat QB as well as adding snaps on the defensive side of the ball.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="61070" first="Antonio" last="Williams"]</strong>, Dutch Fork
Williams was fantastic in the receiving game but also flashed brilliance on special teams as well. He had 85 catches for 1,625 yards and 16 scores. On special teams, he added four touchdowns.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="59467" first="Zack" last="Chalmers"]</strong>, Newberry
Chalmers played in a run-heavy offense, but the Bulldogs standout caught the attention of college recruiters with his 6-4, 200-pound frame. His offers include Kansas, Indiana, ECU, Duke and Coastal Carolina.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="59482" first="Zavier" last="Short"]</strong>, Chapin
The South Carolina signee produced on offense and special teams as well. He hauled in 67 passes for 1,038 yards and 14 touchdowns. He has 3,391 yards receiving in his career and has accounted for touchdowns passing, rushing, receiving and special teams.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91171" first="Joshua" last="Sapp"]</strong>, Greenville
The Clemson signee did a little bit of everything for Greenville. The Red Raiders lined up the 6-4, 225-pounder up as tight end, wide receiver and Wildcat QB. Sapp responded with 50 receptions for 836 yards and 10 touchdowns.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="61067" first="Cam" last="Scott"]</strong>, Hammond
The Hammond senior missed some time this year due to injury, but he did enough while on the field to garner attention. He only had 476 yards on 28 catches and six touchdowns but his presence on the field helped the Skyhawks to another SCISA state title.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="153256" first="Jacobie" last="Henderson"]</strong>, Catawba Ridge
Henderson was dangerous in the return game, but he did most of his damage on offense and defense. He caught 51 passes for 656 yards and four touchdowns. He also added 35 tackles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries on defense.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="153245" first="DJ" last="Black"]</strong>, Chapman
Black has been compared to another Chapman standout – current San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel. Black lived up to those lofty comparisons by catching 79 passes for 1,445 yards and 18 touchdowns.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="200666" first="Davion" last="Joyner"]</strong>, Fort Dorchester
Joyner is one of three Fort Dorchester wide receivers on the list. Joyner led the way with 62 receptions for 1,050 yards and five touchdowns.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="259963" first="Waymond" last="Jenerette"]</strong>, South Pointe
The Stallions wideout set a school record with 1,360 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. He also threw three touchdowns and ran for another. He only played a few snaps on defense but one of them, he returned an interception 70 yards for a score.
