In one of the biggest rushing performances we’ve seen all year, Arnold capped off an amazing high school career with a career game, rushing for 320 yards and a career-high five rushing touchdowns. He couldn’t be stopped against Irwin County, showing he was the best player on the field by a mile. He breaks tackles, but he also has more than enough speed to fly by smaller defenders down the field. He’s quick, hard great burst, and plays bigger than his size. The Georgia Southern commitment was looking to score every time he touched the ball, just dominating throughout the ballgame. He rushed Brooks County to victory in a performance that will live on forever in South Georgia.

Fred Perry - Warner Robins
The Demons won their second straight state championship, and this year, they won it on the back of running back Fred Perry. The two-way star did EVERYTHING for the Demons this weekend in their big victory, making play after play on both sides of the field all night. An excellent defender, Perry made 10 tackles and broke up two passes, but his ability to run through the Calhoun defense was the key to victory. Perry rushed for 233 yards and two touchdowns. He got the Demons on the board early with a three-yard touchdown run. He would put the game away later with a 45-yard touchdown run that put the Demons up 31-7. He had an all-time performance that will go down in Warner Robins history.
[player_tooltip player_id="33872" first="Antonio" last="Martin"] - Langston Hughes
It may have come in a losing effort, but you can’t deny the play of [player_tooltip player_id="33872" first="Antonio" last="Martin"] Jr. The Langston Hughes senior back barreled through the Buford defense early and often, breaking tackled left and right throughout the contest. He ran hard behind his pads, ran with power, and was so tough to bring down by jut one Buford defender. He had an outstanding game and couldn’t have done much more to put Langston Hughes in a great position to get the victory. Martin rushed for over 100 yards and two touchdowns in the game,

Denorris Goodwin - Fitzgerald
Fitzgerald finally got their long-awaited state championship this year and the play of their RB Denorris Goodwin is the biggest reason why. A tough, tackle-breaking back with some elusiveness to his game, Goodwin was outstanding in the big victory over Thomasville, rushing 33 times for 175 yards and two touchdowns. He ran hard all night and did a great job of getting yards after contact and pushing the pile forward at the end of every carry. His first touchdown came from six yards out to give Fitzgerald a 14-0 lead. He would rush for another touchdown soon after, increasing their lead to 21-0 going into the half. He had a great game and one of thee biggest reasons they won their biggest game in school history.
