[player_tooltip player_id="147708" first="Elijah" last="Brown"], Mater Dei, 2024
Brown is undefeated as a starting quarterback and his poise and ability to perform on big stages is incredibly impressive for a sophomore. He completed 18 of 25 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns in a blowout win over Serra of San Mateo in the Open Division championship game. He made a throw on the opening drive of the game that was a college level throw and impressed everyone watching.

[player_tooltip player_id="145247" first="Jax" last="Leatherwood"], Scripps Ranch, 2023
Leatherwood is one of the top quarterback prospects in San Diego and has risen up the rankings fast this season. The junior threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns in a tight win over Wilcox and he topped it all off with a game-winning scoring drive with 27 seconds left in the game. Leatherwood is a Power 5 talent and will be exciting to watch this offseason and next year.

[player_tooltip player_id="141935" first="Charlie" last="Mirer"], Cathedral Catholic, 2022
When I watched Mirer earlier this season I thought he may just be a game manager in a gimmick offense. He has proven this season that he is much more than that and can win a game with his arm. He threw two touchdown passes to [player_tooltip player_id="25296" first="Rex" last="Haynes"] in a win over Folsom. He also ran for a 28-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.

Nico Mosley, Mater Dei Catholic, 2023
Mater Dei Catholic had a historic undefeated season and a big reason was how they can beat you multiple ways on offense. Mosley and the running game shined in a win over Central Catholic. He ran for three touchdowns in the 34-25 win. He is smaller and has great burst in open space. He gets to the edge quickly and has good field vision.
