We’re going to take a look at the best quarterbacks in the class of 2021 in South Jersey. These young talented athletes had a great year and deserve some recognition. Scroll down below to check it out. Sr., QB [player_tooltip player_id="27971" first="Donovan" last="Leary"] , Timber Creek 6’1" 190 Mr. Leary the Illinois commit had a great year. He is a pro-style quarterback who is very poise and confident under center. Leary does a good job scanning the field and determining pre- snap reads. His football IQ is top tier easily recognizing coverages by the defense. Leary finished the year going 170- 314, 2095, 15 TDs and 11 INTs. He has developed to be a pocket quarterback but he can get it on the ground as well. He has the size to take hits and will develop once he enrolls into college. Sr., QB [player_tooltip player_id="203252" first="JC" last="Landicini"] , Cedar Creek 5’10 175 Mr. Landicini is currently uncommitted and had a very impressive season. Landicini led his team to a Group 3 state championship. He has a rocket for an arm and throws the deep ball very well. Despite his size, he is very accurate and throws well on the run. Landicini is very good at keeping his eyes down field to keep the play going. He can really rip a defense apart. Landicini finished his high school career going 202-307, 3230 yards, 36 TDs and 6 INTs. You should expect Landicini to find his fit soon. Any program would be glad to have this amazing talent. Sr., QB Matt Wesley, Shawnee 6’1" 185 Mr. Wesley showed a lot of improvement during the course of this season. He did a great job leading this high powered offense that averaged over 30 points a game. Wesley does a good job staying poise in the pocket when his first read isn’t there. Wesley has tremendous upside to develop into a starting college quarterback. He hasn’t made a decision where he will play but expect him to find his home very soon. Wesley finished his high school career going 165-257, 2,747 yards, 23 TDs and 4 INTs. Sr., QB [player_tooltip player_id="27973" first="Devin" last="Kargman"] , Woodrow Wilson 6’3" 220 Mr. Kargman the Kent State commit has made his mark at Woodrow Wilson. He is a pro-style quarterback that has a strong arm and very accurate. Kargman is sneaky athletic and will pull it and run if need be. He has good field vision and works through his progressions well. Kargman excels at taking what the defense gives him and does not get rattled by the pass rush. He finished his senior season going189-316, 2799 yards, 25 TDs and 3 INTs. Kargman will head into Kent State with a lot of confidence and it will be interesting to see how his career plays out. Sr., QB [player_tooltip player_id="190993" first="Nate" last="Robbins"] , Millville 5’10" 170 Mr. Robbins had solid year to lead his team to win a Group 4 championship. He led a high powered offense that averaged 45 points a game and personally he averaged 2 passing touchdowns a game. Robbins is a natural gun slinger with a quick release. He is extremely accurate and does a good job at utilizing his playmakers. Robbins does a great job with ball placement and sliding passes into tight windows. Robbins has been starting varsity since a sophomore and has improved every year. His senior season, he went 157- 221, 2753 yards, 32 TDs and 9 INTs. Robbins is currently uncommitted.
