Central Valley is in the midst of a 26-game win streak that they have carried on the backs of its awesome senior class. Led by [player_tooltip player_id="95803" first="Matt" last="Merritt"], [player_tooltip player_id="27564" first="Sean" last="FitzSimmons"] and [player_tooltip player_id="69211" first="Landon" last="Alexander"], Central Valley will look to defend their title against a hot Wyomissing team.
[player_tooltip player_id="69211" first="Landon" last="Alexander"] has been on a statistical tear this post-season, shredding great defensive units each and every week. Here are his last three game lines.

20 att, 158yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT, 1 PR TD

22 att, 206yds, 2 TDs

18 att, 223yds, 2 TDs

first RB in last 40 years w 200+ in back to back title games.

On the backs of the senior class alone, this Central Valley team has what it takes to beat anyone in the state. Four prospects in the top 150. Three in the top 60.
Quick shoutout to [player_tooltip player_id="27564" first="Sean" last="FitzSimmons"]! The Pitt Panther commit recently won the 2021 Bill Fralic Award! Well-deserved!

One Unranked prospect that has caught my eye is Jackson Tonya, junior prospect with position versatility along both offensive and defensive lines. He’s recorded 5.5 sacks in the last three games, 8.5 last four. He’s done more than earn a spot on the rankings, he’s looking like a potential FCS player at the least. We will keep our eye on his recruitment and development. You should keep your eye on all kids listed above!

Wyomissing’s dominance of great football programs over the last month shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. From a scouting lens, Wyomissing is one of the more balanced teams in Pennsylvania when speaking on skill level across the board. You can find production deep into this lineup. You can say this about most teams that make it this far into the post-season, but it holds true when many “role players” on this team are going to be playing collegiate ball. Congrats to [player_tooltip player_id="178674" first="Preston" last="Aikman"] on his recent commitment to Denison University! Same shout out to [player_tooltip player_id="243498" first="Nevin" last="Carter"], [player_tooltip player_id="186286" first="Tommy" last="Grabowski"] and Julian DiMaio who all received offers from Juniata College recently. Many new Wyomissing seniors were added to the rankings, deservedly so. They should have been on the list prior to the season if we are being honest.

Absolutely love the combo of [player_tooltip player_id="243373" first="Jack" last="Miller"] and [player_tooltip player_id="241921" first="Rory" last="Filoon"] at the linebacker spots. Two well-coached, disciplined players who work well when given the chance to play instinctually.
[player_tooltip player_id="242553" first="Jamhi" last="Jackson"] is another underrated prospect along the Wyo defensive line. Great build, carries 240 pounds really well. He’s been carrying the rock well as of late. I don’t know who wants to see that kid with that size in the open-field. I wouldn’t. Central Valley will be up for it though.
Can’t go without mentioning [player_tooltip player_id="127235" first="J’ven" last="Williams"], who is as sound a tackle prospect as they can come. So fluid and consistent in his base. So balanced. Never panics or over extends. His size is beyond functional use. Can drop and angle in pass pro really well. I want to do a deeper dive on this kid. Watch for it soon. He will rank as the highest debuting player in PRZPA history. All scouts have him somewhere in top 5.
Keep an eye out for all of these kids on the back-to-back-to-back District 3 champs.
