In part one of our series, we looked at the top sophomore quarterbacks from all around Georgia. Some have already seen their recruitment result in a slew of scholarship offers, while others are still awaiting that pivotal first offer. A lot of these guys put up monster statistics at the varsity level this fall. We broke down which ones you need to know below in Part I of our series!

[player_tooltip player_id="137478" first="Jaylen" last="Bester"], 6’3", 180, Campbell
Bester can flat-out scoot and will provide a ton of value in the quarterback run game. He shows quiet feet inside the pocket and will not drift or see ghosts if the protection is there. He has a high football IQ, choosing not to force the ball into coverage, opting to hit his check down.
Aaron Philo, 6’2", 190, Prince Avenue
A terrific thrower off-platform who can also fit the ball into tight windows when need be. Philo shows a clean throwing motion, a twitchy lower half & essential toughness against the blitz. Aaron squares his shoulders when throwing on the move and will put it where only his man can get it.

[player_tooltip player_id="165716" first="Jake" last="Merklinger"], 6’3", 190, Calvary Day
A highly accurate pocket passer that calmly works through his progression and can get to his third & fourth read. Jake climbs the pocket with defensive ends converging and keeps his eyes straight down the field, looking for someone to throw to. He's an extremely quick processor and can quickly find the holes in zone coverage.

Neko Fann, 6', 160, Colquitt County
An electric dual-threat quarterback prospect who can gash defenses once he gets into space. Fann is a natural go-ball thrower who will place the football right over his target's shoulders into the breadbasket. He shows a smooth operation time and the ability to expedite his release on RPO's.
[player_tooltip player_id="137477" first="Prentiss" last="Noland"], 6’3", 190, Langston Hughes
A decisive southpaw with impressive touch on all three levels. Noland routinely looks off opposing safeties, creating serious holes for him in zone coverage. He has plenty of arm strength, to go with great anticipation, and the ability to throw wideouts open. He's a special talent who could be a four-star type recruit when it's all said and done.

Jakhari Williams, 6'3", 190, First Presbyterian
A good frame to go with outstanding footwork and a live arm. Williams puts enough air under the deep ball so that his target can run right under it in stride. He has the legs to extend when the pocket collapses and will put some serious zip on his intermediate throws.

[player_tooltip player_id="137483" first="Jeremy" last="Hecklinski"], 6’1", 175, Walton
A magician with filthy escapability and overall wiggle. Jeremy doesn't get rattled when he's forced off his spot and throws exceptionally well on the move. He displayed terrific timing and the willingness to sit in the pocket & take a shot in order to hit his target.
Luke Kromenhoek, 6’3", 185, Benedictine
The ball jumps out of Luke's hand using a compact release and steady weight distribution. He can quickly set his feet inside the pocket and deliver a strike with a defender bearing down. He's shown me some underrated athleticism as he can get outside the pocket & scramble if you don't correctly manage rush lanes.
