The Southeastern conference is one that housed a state champion in 2021, alongside many other great teams with great 2024 talent. There's great talent across the board, but for now let's take a quick look at 4 2024 athletes that made a big difference in 2021.
<strong>Chelsea T <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/14837256/Seth-Anstead">Seth Anstead</a></strong>
Anstead is a big 6'4 260lb lineman who dominated this season. Anstead is a great fundamental blocker who sports good power and leverage on every block. On a team full of amazing seniors, Anstead shined and I'm looking forward to seeing what he's able to do this coming season.
<strong>Chelsea RB/FS <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/15160230/Thomas-Shemwell">Thomas Shemwell</a></strong>
Shemwell will undoubtedly take a much larger role in the offense next season. Shemwell has great speed with good change of direction and does a great job in keeping his feet chopping after initial contact. He's also not afraid to be a lead blocker out of the backfield. His main position is at running back, and I would assume he's putting in the work this offseason in order to have a breakout 2022 season.
<strong>Pinckney LB <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/16516317/Cain-Barth">Cain Barth</a></strong>
Barth is a great tackler who can deliver some nice hits. Having played a significant amount of time on varsity during his sophomore season, Barth is undoubtedly going to grow into quite the talent in the coming years. If he can improve his play recognition and general aggression, Barth is going to be a problem.
<strong>Tecumseh RB/DB <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/14544543/AJ-Bryan">AJ Bryan</a></strong>
Bryan is a high-motor hard-working athlete that had an amazing sophomore season totaling over 1300 yards with 16 touchdowns. The stats speak for his game quite well, as he's ahead of the curve in many aspects. Bryan has great field vision, as he's always looking for holes, cutbacks, etc. He's a very hard runner who can be seen inviting contact rather than stepping out of bounds in some instances. It's going to be exciting to see what Bryan can do in 2022.
