Christopher Collier-Surly Commits to Jewell College

One of the great things about scouting and being able to watch prospects is at the same time getting to know the prospects. In this article, we are going to go over the spring semester for Christopher as well as take a look at what he will bring to William Jewell College football. The first item that we are going to look at briefly is the 2021 football season. The Bentonville Tigers had another impressive football season in 2021. Bentonville had a dynamic offense in which Christopher got a chance to carry the football quite a bit this season. In 2021, Collier-Surly averaged 10.3 yards per carry and punched the ball in the end zone three times. The senior season was an impressive one for the Tigers running back. However, the football season did not end the way the Bentonville Tigers would have liked. Collier-Surly has not had a problem switching focus to the upcoming track and field season. It is always great to see athletes participate in more than one sport and Collier-Surly is able to use his great speed running track for the Tigers. The goal for the Bentonville track program is similar to that of the football program and that is winning a state championship. Shifting our focus to what Collier-Surly will bring to the William Jewell Cardinals. Collier-Surly brings to the Cardinals a running back that has impressive speed. He does a great job of allowing a rushing lane to develop before running. Collier-Surly is the kind of player that has a second gear when he gets into the open field. He is a running back that can catch the ball out of the backfield and is a player that can generate plenty of explosive plays. Meanwhile, the Cardinals may have gotten the commitment of a fantastic football player, but also a first-class individual. Collier-Surly is the kind of person and teammate you want on your football team. He is a driven individual that will perform well on the field but also in the classroom. Collier-Surly is the type of individual that will do great on the field but he will do even better off the field. In any event, he is the type of person you want to see do well and I will be rooting for him both on the field and off!
