CAAC Blue Conference Players to Watch in 2022

The Capital Area Activities Conference Blue division was very competitive this year in 2021. Next year teams in the league will bring back several All-Conference players from this year. Keep these guys in mind next season as they will shine for their respective teams. <strong>Grand Ledge</strong> <strong>Teddy Williams </strong>| WR/DE | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2FhZGf">Hudl</a> Williams is a guy whose motor is always running. He not only has great size and strength, but he also has good breakaway speed. Grand Ledge is a proud football program and they will be good again next year with <strong>Teddy William’s </strong>key contributions. <strong>Shawn Foster </strong>| WR | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GF77w">Hudl</a> Foster is a tremendous athlete. He made key plays on offense, defense, and special teams last year for Grand Ledge. Foster has great hands and catches nearly every pass thrown to him. Grand Ledge made sure to get Foster the ball in different ways offensively to really keep the defense guessing. I expect next year to be no different and Foster will be sure to light up the stat sheet for Grand Ledge. <strong>Andrew Konieczny </strong>| TE/DB | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GKGwF">Hudl</a> Konieczny is a very smooth route runner at tight end. He is so good at getting open on seam routes. <strong>Andrew Konieczny </strong>is so good at getting yards after the catch and is not afraid to take a hit from a defender when he goes over the middle. He has proved to be a terrific blocker as well. Konieczny is never afraid to get out in the open, square up the defender, and then drive him back to clear space for his teammates to run. <strong>Holt</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="243467" first="Seneca" last="Moore"] </strong>| QB | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GHTPK">Hudl</a> Moore has great arm strength and has the ability to throw a high arching deep ball. Moore is always looking to make a throw and can make throws on the run. Moore is a strong quarterback who can also break arm tackles easily. Holt has eyes on a big season next year, and Moore returning at quarterback will be critical for their success heading into the 2022 season. <strong>Lansing Waverly</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249753" first="Joseph" last="Pizzo"] </strong>| QB | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GAvs0">Hudl</a> [player_tooltip player_id="249753" first="Joseph" last="Pizzo"] is an exciting player to watch. Pizzo is so hard to tackle in the open field, especially with his spin move. He has a good feel in the pocket for when to step up and avoid the outside rush. Pizzo is great at throwing with touch and is very accurate on deep balls and fades. Next season Pizzo only enters his junior season. It will be awesome to see him build upon a great sophomore year in 2021. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249762" first="Evan" last="Walker"] </strong>| WR | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GF2e3">Hudl</a> [player_tooltip player_id="249762" first="Evan" last="Walker"] does a great job of combining a great release off the line of scrimmage with great acceleration to be able to burn defenders deep. You really have confidence that <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249762" first="Evan" last="Walker"] </strong>will win on 50/50 balls thrown his way. Walker has a great feel for where he is on the field and works hard to get open in the endzone. He has shown the athleticism to reverse the entire field and make a big play. Like his quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249753" first="Joseph" last="Pizzo"], </strong>Walker will only enter his junior year in 2022. Pizzo to Walker will be a great combination for the next two seasons.
