8A District 15 Post Season Quarterback Analysis

There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. No other prep site brings you more prospects to check out than Prep Redzone Florida!         Max Lawrence- Miami Beach High c/o 23 6'2 175lbs Lawrence had a very good season for Miami Beach High leading them to a 6-3 record in 2021. He led the district in passing throwing for 1547 yards, completing 60% of his passes, and throwing 16 touchdowns. Very intelligent quarterback on and off the field that has a 4.74 GPA. Processes coverages and takes what the defense gives him, shows the ability to stand in the pocket with the rush bearing down and keep his eyes downfield, shows very good accuracy at all three levels of the field. He led them to a 5-4 record in 2021. He doesn't have updated Maxprep stats, but shows through four games passing for 540 yards, completing over 51% of his passes with five touchdowns and also rushing for 36 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Does a good job buying time in the pocket and using his feet to elude defenders and does a good job keeping his eyes downfield. Sophomore prospect that looks to continue to improve each season. He led them to a 5-4 record and had over 2,000 plus yards total offense and 29 touchdowns on the season. He has the ability to be effective running the ball, has good vision and shows balance to bounce off tacklers, uses his feet to get out of trouble and shows the ability to throw on the run with the accuracy. Has good acceleration and quickness to get to the edge, could play multiple positions at the next level. An outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA.
