He shows great rhythm in the pocket with his movement, footwork, and delivery as he goes through his progression. Possesses an accelerated release that allows him to get the ball out quick but also shows he can throw from different off balance platforms without sacrificing accuracy and velocity. A deceptive athlete that can throw on the run and make plays with his legs escaping pressure or on designed runs. [player_tooltip player_id="141926" first="Anthony" last="Garcia"], QB, Capital Christian
The dual-sport athlete (football/basketball) is one of the top players in northern California after a big senior season with 3,400 total yards and 41 touchdowns. At 6'3” 185 lbs. he's a gifted athlete that can run and throw with a high football IQ. He understands coverage and sees the field extremely well while being smart with the football, evident by throwing only four interceptions on 250 attempts. His arm strength and accuracy allows him to hit his spots and place the ball where his receivers can run after the catch. Love his ability to improvise and create something out of nothing when protection breaks down. One of the top unsigned 2022 QB's in the state that holds seven D1 offers most recently from San Jose State just last week.

Shows good ability and composure as a pocket passer but is at his best when he's playing freely and can create using his excellent athleticism and arm talent. Flashes great body control and coordination to throw off different platforms and varying arm angles to throw an accurate and catchable ball. He's also an exciting player to watch as he escapes pressure and makes plays with his legs. Finally received some well-deserved attention this season and ultimately signed with San Diego State on Early Signing Day.
