Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
John Owens, LB- Plant High
6’3 210lbs
Owens has been a defensive leader for a resurgent Plant defense this season. Owen’s is leading the team with 50 tackles, 14 tfl, and two sacks this season. He has good size and length for the linebacker position, instinctive player that is very active and shows the ability to scrape get off blocks (270lb bench) and get to the ball-carrier. Shows speed (4.8 40) to play sideline-to-sideline.

Connor Gurney, LB- Seminole High
5’11 200lbs
Gurney has had a productive season for Seminole High this year. He leads the team in tackles with 59, has 15.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. He’s a downhill linebacker that attacks the line of scrimmage, physical taking on blocks and shedding, and plays with a mean streak. Versatile football player that also plays running back on the offensive side of the ball.

Anthony Weaver, LB- Keswick Christian
5’11 210lbs
Weaver is a big play linebacker that makes a lot of splash plays, he is a terrific athlete, he fills holes quickly and comes under control, making great form tackles. He has a lot of speed and range as a chase-and-hit backer. He currently has several small school offers.

Quinn Hepler, LB- Gulf Coast High
5’11 200lbs
Hepler has been outstanding for Gulf Coast High in 2021. He leads the team with 116 tackles and three sacks. Smart linebacker that trust his eyes and does a good job sifting through traffic and getting to the ball, solid tackler, shows the physicality to meet ball carriers in the hole. He’s also an outstanding student with a 4.4 GPA.
