<strong>Dieter Barr, St. Pius-X St. Matthias, 2023</strong>
Barr has quietly been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the Long Beach area. The junior quarterback completed 17 of 32 passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns in a semifinal win over Mira Costa. Barr and St. Pius will play Aquinas in for the Division 7 championship.

Gonzalez has been one of the best passers in Orange County but sometimes gets overshadowed by the higher profile programs in the Trinity League. There are times when you watch Gonzalez where he looks as good as any quarterback in the state. In the Division 2 semifinal game against Sierra Canyon, Gonzalez completed 27 of 40 passes for 355 yards and five touchdowns.

Mater Dei Catholic has been rolling through the San Diego Section Division 3 playoffs and Nankil is a big part of that success. The junior completed 21 of 30 passes for 297 yards and five touchdowns in a 40-8 win over Santa Fe Christian. He got an offer from New Mexico State before even starting a game and pretty soon they won’t be the only school to offer him.

When this site opened during the pandemic, Orsborn was ranked the highest class of 2022 quarterback in San Diego. Other players have emerged since then but Orsborn has not disappointed and has been playing very well. He completed 74 percent of his passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-7 win against Calexico in the Division 5 semifinals. The play in the Tweet below is a college-level throw.
