Upstate teams were in some thrillers in Friday’s second round, and several survived to the third. Here’s a look at some second-round performances worthy of Prep Redzone game balls.

The senior QB threw for 361 yards and 3 TDs, none more important than a 4-yard strike to [player_tooltip player_id="91149" first="Tyler" last="Brown"] with 28 seconds left, which gave Greenville a 27-26 advantage and proved to be the game-winner. <strong>Mazeo Bennett</strong> did plenty of damage for the Red Raiders as well, grabbing 4 receptions for 136 yards and a score.
Powdersville staged a double-digit comeback to stay perfect on the year and earn a home game in the third round. [player_tooltip player_id="91152" first="Thomas" last="Williams"] led the Patriots with 107 rushing yards and a score, while [player_tooltip player_id="89333" first="Jalen" last="Rambert"] spearheaded the Powdersville defense and continued his part-time role in the backfield, rushing for 29 yards and the game-winning score late in the fourth quarter.
<strong>Constantine Gandis</strong> delivered the only points in Christ Church’s 3-0 win over St. Joseph’s, booting a 36-yard field goal with 55 seconds left for the win. The Cavaliers’ last drive was powered in part by [player_tooltip player_id="104595" first="Grayson" last="Klue"], who rushed for 111 yards, 106 of them after halftime.
In a loss to end a stellar season, Hillcrest’s <strong>Bennett Judy</strong> again came up big for the Rams. He threw for 361 yards and 4 touchdowns, connecting on scoring tosses of 16, 7, 53, and 5 yards.
