<span style="font-weight: 400;">The second week of the high school playoffs in the state of Arkansas bring plenty of great matchups to watch this Friday night. We are going to take a look at a few of the matchups that will make plenty of waves this weekend. Every conference has some matchups that would be worth of a state title matchup, however we are still a few weeks away. </span>
<b>Cabot vs Fayetteville:</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Both teams are coming into this matchup extremely hot and playing good football. Fayetteville quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="75105" first="Bladen" last="Fike"] picked up a scholarship offer from Middle Tennessee State over the bye week, and he has a terrific regular season. Look for Fayetteville to get Fike and his electric receiving corps that includes [player_tooltip player_id="94925" first="Jalen" last="Blackburn"] and [player_tooltip player_id="75066" first="Isaiah" last="Sategna"] going early on Friday. Meanwhile, the Cabot Panthers will look to get quarterback Grant Freeman off to a hot start at Harmon Field on Friday night. </span>
<b>North Little Rock vs Bentonville:</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a matchup that can be counted on every year in the state playoffs. Both North Little Rock and Bentonville are extremely consistent. The Charging Wildcats will need to find a way to contain talented Bentonville running back [player_tooltip player_id="75143" first="Josh" last="Ficklin"] on Friday or it could be a long night. This is the type of matchup that could come right down to the wire on Friday night. </span>
<b>Wynne vs Greenbrier:</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Wynne Yellowjackets come into this matchup with only one defeat. Meanwhile, Greenbrier comes in with an undefeated record on the season. Something is going to have to give on Friday. Greenbrier look to get [player_tooltip player_id="94994" first="Cooper" last="Wilcox"] going early in this matchup. The Yellowjackets will look to use a strong rushing attack to keep Greenbrier off-balance. This game has the potential to be one of the best matchups in the state this Friday night. </span>
<b>Cedarville vs Hoxie:</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">One of the most eagerly anticipated matchups on Friday is between the Cedarville Pirates and the Hoxie Mustangs. Hoxie quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="136316" first="Cade" last="Forrester"] has been terrific this season both throwing and running with the football. Meanwhile, for the Pirates of Cedarville [player_tooltip player_id="131175" first="Darryl" last="Kattich"] and Hayden Partain provide a physical one-two punch for the Pirates. This matchup should come right down to the wire on Friday and be a hard-hitting affair. </span>
<b>Manila vs Booneville:</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Booneville Bearcats have been on a roll all season and are looking to continue the momentum in the second round of the state playoffs. Booneville comes in off of a dominating victory over Salem. [player_tooltip player_id="92902" first="Randon" last="Ray"] was all over the field for the Bearcats last Friday night. Meanwhile, the Manila Lions come into this matchup with a 9-2 record and with plenty of momentum as well. Kurt Overton came up big for the Lions last Friday taking off for a 45 yard touchdown run. Booneville is always a tough place to play on a Friday night and this one has the potential to be a close game. </span>
