We are going to take a look at some of the newcomers that were added in the November update.
Donovyn Omolo Donovyn Omolo 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Conway | 2024 State AR -Quarterback-Conway
The Wampus Cats of Conway have a quarterback that will give opposing defenses plenty of headaches over the next few years. Omolo has a strong arm and he continued to grow as a quarterback all season long. He became more comfortable in the pocket but knew when to escape to pick up yards. Omolo is going to be a quarterback to keep an eye on over the next few years.
Jalen Dupree Jalen Dupree 6'1" | 210 lbs | RB Malvern | 2024 State AR -Running Back-Malvern
Dupree exploded on to the scene this season for Malvern. The Malvern running back exploded for 1,600 yards this season. Dupree would punch the ball in the end zone 18 times this season. He is the kind of running back that gets better as the game gets late. Keep an eye on Dupree, he has the potential to be a special player over the next three years.
Da’Shawn Chairs Da’Shawn Chairs 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB Elkins | 2024 State AR -Running Back-Elkins
The Elks of Elkins have discovered lightning in a bottle with the talented running back. Chairs is extremely versatile and can run between the tackles as well as cut it to the outside. He can catch the ball out of the backfield, and he has the speed to take it the distance. The Elks can expect even bigger things out of Chairs over the next couple of years. Chairs has the potential to be one of the state’s best running backs. He is a player to keep an eye on.
Shawn Rycraw Shawn Rycraw 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Bryant | 2024 State AR -Athlete-Central Arkansas Christian
Rycraw has the potential to be a dangerous wide receiver over the next few years. He racked up 500 yards receiving off of 25 receptions. Rycraw was on the receiving end of six touchdowns this season. Rycraw has the speed needed to create separation from opposing defensive backs. What will really stand out to observers is that Rycraw has good hands, and he will not drop passes. Rycraw will draw plenty of attention over the next few years.
John Mark Charette John Mark Charette 6'2" | 220 lbs | ATH Pulaski Academy | 2024 State AR -Athlete-Pulaski Academy
Pulaski Academy has a number of weapons at the skill positions. However, Charette is quickly becoming a wide receiver that opponents worry about. All Charette does is turn plays that are designed to be short into explosive plays. He will have the opportunity to impress scouts and observers this week in the state championship game. Pulaski Academy does an excellent job of finding ways to get him open. He has the potential to be a receiver that coaches and scouts will want to keep tabs on.
