In this article, we are going to highlight the players that moved up over the past few months.
Josh Ficklin Josh Ficklin 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Bentonville | 2023 State AR -Running Back-Bentonville
The Bentonville running back has had an incredibly strong 2021 season and received plenty of division one attention in the process. During the regular season, Ficklin rushed for 1,446 yards and 25 touchdowns. He is one of those running backs that continues to get better the more carries that he receives during the game. Ficklin shoots up the Prep RedZone Arkansas 2023 rankings with an extremely impressive 2021 season. He is going to be a running back to watch over the next few months. The best may be yet to come for the Bentonville running back.
Jaylin McKinney Jaylin McKinney 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR Pulaski Academy | 2023 State AR -Wide Receiver-Pulaski Academy
Over the years, Pulaski Academy has had no problem producing players that can catch the football and make plays with the ball. The Bruins wide receiver had no trouble forcing people to pay attention to the solid season he put together this season. McKinney hauled in 64 receptions for 1,175 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. McKinney is the type of wide receiver that can turn a short pass play into an explosive one real quick. He is going to be a wide receiver to watch out for during the off season, he has the potential to earn some scholarship offers quickly.
Quincey Rhodes Jr.-Linebacker-Jacksonville
One of the most explosive players on the defensive side of the ball is Quincey Rhodes Jr. At 6-6, Rhodes Jr. has the size to create all kinds of problems in both the run and the passing games for the opposing offense. The Memphis Tigers have picked up on how disruptive a force the Jacksonville linebacker is and have extended a scholarship offer. Memphis struck early and with a strong off season, that will not be the only scholarship offer the talented linebacker receives. Rhodes Jr. has put himself in a great position to continue to climb the rankings over the next few months.
Luke King Luke King 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Hazen | 2023 State AR -Quarterback-Hazen
King is one of those quarterbacks that does a great job in making good decisions with the football. King can make all the throws that coaches and scouts are looking for in a quarterback. The trait that sticks out the most about King is that he is not afraid to pick up yardage using his legs. He does an impressive job of keeping his eyes down the field and being able to make the throw. Fans and scouts should pay attention to King, he is just starting to tap into his potential. He is going to be a fun quarterback to watch.
Malachi Henry Malachi Henry 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Van Buren | 2023 State AR -Wide Receiver-Van Buren
The Van Buren wide receiver has had a tremendous season for the Pointers. Henry is a wide receiver that can stretch the field. However, he can also work the underneath routes effectively and pick up plenty of yardage in the process. Henry racked up 60 receptions for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. Henry has the potential to continue to blow up this offseason. With one big season already under his belt, the potential for a strong 2022 season is extremely high. Keep an eye on Henry!
