Muskegon Offensive Standouts: Week 10 Part 2

We’re highlighting some of the best offensive performances from the Muskegon area from week 10. [player_tooltip player_id="30251" first="Dylan" last="Everett"] - Montague - RB - 5’9" 175 lbs Everett was unstoppable on Friday as he killed the defense. Everything he was doing worked and they kept feeding him the ball. He picked up a first down on seemingly every play that he touched the ball. He put up over 200 scrimmage yards. 128 of those and 2 TDs came through the ground. He then added another 74-yard TD reception to help guide Montague to an easy win. Ja'Kari Edwards - Muskegon Heights - QB Edwards put up a performance that you only dream about as a kid. He was just better than everyone on the field Friday and there was nothing the defense could do about it. He did it through the air and the ground and the defense eventually collapsed. He had over 300 scrimmage yards and 8 TDs on the night. He rushed for 160-yards and 6 TDs and then threw for 178-yards and 2 more TDs. Austin Fowler - Holton - QB - 5'9" 155 lbs Fowler was awesome on Friday. He just let it rip all night long and there wasn't much that the defense could do. The air-raid-like offense they were running was in full swing and it looked great. He was confident in the deep game and unstoppable in the short passing game. He stayed true to his mechanics and never waivered. Fowler completed 32 of his 46 passing attempts. He put up 463-yards and 5 TDs on the night. Jakob Price - Muskegon - RB - 5'5" 172 lbs Price is only a sophomore but beginning to take clear control of the backfield in Muskegon. He's dynamic and efficient all while still learning the position. He doesn't have the biggest frame but he's able to take a big hit. He hit his first 100-yard game and had 2 TDs on the night as they got an easy win. I expect to see more Price as we head deep into the playoffs. He looks good and is still getting his confidence.
