<em><strong>DeAndre Stewart</strong></em> kickstarted the game by returning the opening kickoff 98 yards for a TD giving SHG the lead 6-0 with 11:47 left in the 1st. JCA would answer with 2 yard TD run by <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"]</em> </strong>giving them the lead 7-6 with 5:24 left in the 1st. JCA would drive down the field again and cap off their drive with an 8 yard TD pass from <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="20867" first="Aidan" last="Voss"]</em></strong> to <em><strong>Jake Fieldman</strong></em> expanding their lead to 13-6 with 1:00 left in the 1st. JCA would go on a roll scoring with a 35 yard TD run by <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"]</em></strong>, 32 yard TD pass from <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="20867" first="Aidan" last="Voss"]</em> </strong>to <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"]</em></strong>, and <em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="65721" first="Vinny" last="Iannantone"]</strong></em> 2 yard TD run to go up 35-6 with 1:18 left in the 2nd quarter. SHG would respond to close out the half with <strong><em>Ty Lott</em></strong> finding <em><strong>Madixx Morris</strong></em> on a 6 yard TD pass with 44 seconds left in the 2nd, 35-13. SHG would then score early in the 3rd with a 30 yard TD pass from <em><strong>Ty Lott</strong> </em>to <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="65872" first="KeShon" last="Singleton"]</em></strong> with 10:28 left in the 3rd, 35-20. <em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="65721" first="Vinny" last="Iannantone"] </strong></em>would respond with a 2 yard TD run with 3:20 left in the 3rd giving his team a bigger lead 42-20. With 9:17 left in the 4th, <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"]</em></strong> takes it 26 yards into the endzone expanding the lead 49-20. SHG responds with a 10 yard TD pass from <strong><em>Ty Lott</em> </strong>to <strong><em>Madixx Morris</em></strong> with 5:27 left in the 4th, 49-27. <em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"]</strong></em> does it again with 3:25 left in the 4th getting into the endzone off a 6 yard TD run, 56-27.

<em><strong>#5 [player_tooltip player_id="20867" first="Aidan" last="Voss"] 5'11 185 22' QB <a href="https://twitter.com/VossAidan">Twitter</a></strong></em>
Mr. Voss spent most of the game handing the ball off to his dominant running backs throughout this night, when he was called upon to make a pass he came through for his team. When working in platform, he does a good job of navigating the pocket to avoid pocket pressure and delivers a strike downfield on two occasions to [player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"] (one going for a 35 yard TD pass). He showcased that he can make level 3 throws and add a touch on the deep ball when doing so. In the redzone, he made a level 2 throw to Jake Fieldman resulting in a TD putting a touch on the ball as he lead his receiver to the back pylon for a TD. If the pocket collapses and he gets flushed out, this young man doesn't have an issue pulling the ball down to scramble using his legs to move the chains. This young man holds his highest offer from Drake University, I expect more to come his way after his senior campaign.

<em><strong>#23 [player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"] 6'3 230 22' RB <a href="https://twitter.com/jda_anderson21">Twitter</a></strong></em>
Mr. Anderson is as dominant as they come at the tailback position in Illinois, The University of Illinois are getting one heck of a ball player. The physicality that he possesses is 2nd to none, there were countless plays throughout this game where he would finish plays by keeping his feet driving to fight for extra yards while carrying two to three defenders on his back as they tried to bring him down. He's a downhill runner that entices contact and can run defenders over, once he does so he can hit the cutback lanes gaining more yardage on the play. This young man has the vision to find running lanes quickly between the tackles, once he does he weaves in and out of defenders. In the air attack, he's able to attack the ball at the highest point to secure the catch downfield. It's not often that you see a ball carrier that's around the same size as the offensive lineman blocking in front. Go check out some of his game clips below.

<em><strong>#28 [player_tooltip player_id="65721" first="Vinny" last="Iannantone"] 6'1 205 22' RB <a href="https://twitter.com/VinnyIannanton2">Twitter</a></strong></em>
Mr. Iannantone is the 2nd part of the Hilltopper's 1-2 punch that they have in the ground game. This young man is a hard runner that finishes plays by keeping his feet driving to fight for extra yards and plays through the whistle. He has the vision to find the running lanes quickly between the tackles and turns into a downhill runner when doing so. This is another tailback that entices contact and can lower his shoulder to run the defenders over. What's interesting to note is his game style is similar to that of [player_tooltip player_id="20875" first="Jordan" last="Anderson"], he's just a "smaller" version of him. He currently holds no offers from what I see. In my eyes, he's a D2/NAIA caliber player that could potentially rise to FCS as a power back if a team would like to develop him into their system.

<em><strong>#18 Jake Fieldman 5'11 175 22' WR <a href="https://twitter.com/FieldmanJake">Twitter</a></strong></em>
Mr. Fieldman spent most of the night blocking for the 1-2 punch the Hilltoppers have in the 4A State Championship. He was able to get into the endzone off his connection with QB [player_tooltip player_id="20867" first="Aidan" last="Voss"] near the end of the 1st quarter. On this route, he uses leverage to beat the defender by stemming his route inside to stack the defender and breaks him off at the top of the route. As he does so, he makes sure to flatten his route off as opposed to rounding it off so the defender can't undercut the route as he tracks the ball to the back pylon for the TD. This young man currently holds no offers. Since he plays in a predominantly run heavy offense it's a bit difficult to say what his production would have looked like if he played in a spread style offense. In my eyes, he's an NAIA/D3 caliber receiver that could potentially rise to D2 given a team feels good about his skillset after putting him through drills.

<em><strong>#40 Jeremy Johnson 6'1 190 23' DL <a href="https://twitter.com/JJohnson_12">Twitter</a></strong></em>
<em>Stats: 7 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 sack</em>
Mr. Johnson works gap to gap, as he does so he disengages blocks to make the tackle on the play. He has the ability to shoot the gap slipping through blocks which results in him getting in the backfield for the TFL and getting penetration to disrupt the play. On passing downs, he was able to use his quick 1st step to gain leverage on the opposing OT. From here, he uses his hands at the point of attack to either swim move or bull rush showcasing his power. Both of which resulted in getting pressure on the opposing quarterback and getting him a sack on the night as well. In my eyes, he's more of a pass rushing DE that could transition to a LB at the next level. In my eyes, a D2/NAIA caliber prospect.
<em><strong>Special Recognition: "The Hogs"</strong></em>
OL did one heck of a job blocking up front and controlling the line of scrimmage working in unison throughout this game.

<em><strong>#5 [player_tooltip player_id="65872" first="KeShon" last="Singleton"] 6'2 190 23' WR <a href="https://twitter.com/KeShon_2023">Twitter</a></strong></em>
<em>Stats: 4 receptoins for 35 yards (1 TD)</em>
Mr. Singleton didn't have as well as a game performance as he'd hoped for. With that being said, we did see glimpses of his potential and skillset. I missed the video but he can win over the top with his speed by taking an outside release. As he does so on the fly route, he attacks the ball at the highest point to come away with the contested catch for his TD on the night. There were times where he would slow play his route to find the soft spot in the opposing defense to be an outlet for his quarterback. In my eyes, he's an FBS type talent when you look at his overall body of work throughout this season and there's a reason why he's currently ranked 13th in the state for the Class of 2023.
<em><strong>#8 DeAndre Stewart 5'9 170 23' WR <a href="https://twitter.com/_Stewie8">Twitter</a></strong></em>
Mr. Stewart took the opening kickoff 98 yards for a TD to kickstart this matchup. During his return, we got an insight into his ability to hit that next gear to blow by the 2nd level of defenders. On offense, he's quick off the line of scrimmage and clears the middle of the field for his fellow receivers with Maddix Morris being on the receiving end of this throughout the game. This young man finished with 1 reception for 15 yards, his impact was felt as he stretches the field vertically opening up the middle of the field. It's hard to say his projection off this game, has the potential to play at the next level.

<em><strong>#6 Madixx Morris 5'11 180 23' WR <a href="https://twitter.com/Madixx12">Twitter</a></strong></em>
Mr. Morris was on the receiving end of the space created in the defense by DeAndre Stewart. This young man is quick off the line of scrimmage, he gets in and out of his breaks quickly which creates separation from the defender. He's able to win his route over top with his speed as seen in the clip below, once he secures the catch he gets vertical quickly. In my eyes, he's a D2/D3 caliber receiver that might have a breakout season next fall.

<em><strong>#8 Ty Lott 6'2 190 23' QB </strong></em>
Mr. Lott works in platform to deliver strikes downfield to his receivers, he does so by making level 1 and level 3 throws. When doing so, he can add zip on the ball and put a touch on the deep ball. What's most impressive is the way that he goes through progressions as he doesn't force the ball into tight coverage, rather he'll survey the field as he goes through his reads to find his man downfield. This is impressive to see from a young quarterback that has taken over the signal caller position for SHG. He has room to improve and develop his skillset further. In my eyes, he's a D3 caliber QB at the moment with the potential to rise to the D2/NAIA level. He's a raw prospect at the quarterback position, I look forward to seeing how he produces in the Fall 2022 season.
