#20 Allan Richards Allan Richards 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Wilmington | 2022 State IL 22′ LB/K 6’3 218 Twitter
Mr. Richards uses his lateral quickness to limit the ability of the opposing ball carrier to turn the corner. When in close space he works gap to gap and can quickly trigger downhill making the play at the line of scrimmage as well as in the backfield. What’s interesting about this young man is he’s also one heck of a kicker where he’s able to put a backspin on kickoffs to pin his opponent inside their 10-yard line and follows through his punts giving him generous bounces. He has a good frame to himself, a D2 caliber player that currently holds an offer from Upper Iowa University.

#13 Jacob Friddle Jacob Friddle 6'1" | 180 lbs | RB Wilmington | 2022 State IL 22′ RB 6’2 185
Mr. Friddle isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder as he fights for extra yards by keeping his feet churning to play through contact. He uses his lateral quickness to turn the corner before cutting upfield quickly which is where he hits his 2nd gear to outrun the 2nd level of defenders. his 1st TD of the night, he showcased tremendous body control to toe-tap along the sideline getting inches away from it and stay up as defenders tried to force him out of bounds. He’s a bigger back that has a low center of gravity and can contribute to the D3 level in an instant in the run game, potentially a D2/NAIA player if given the right system.

#68 Nick Sanford 22′ OL/DL 6’4 260
Mr. Sanford has a big frame standing at 6’4 260 that works on both sides of the ball (Offensive Tackle & Defensive End). On offense, he latches on quickly by getting his hands inside and finishes plays by washing the defensive line down. On defense, he has good power to him which he uses to drive the offensive tackle back collapsing the QB pocket and getting pressure on the opposing quarterback. In the run game, he’s able to disengage from blocks to make the tackle in the run game. A D3 caliber player that can play on either side of the ball, I personally liked him more as a defensive end with how physical he is at the point of attack and able to disrupt plays off the edge.

#19 Colin James 23′ RB 5’7 153
Mr. James is the lightning to Jacob Friddle Jacob Friddle 6'1" | 180 lbs | RB Wilmington | 2022 State IL ‘s Thunder. Upon securing the handoff, he uses his lateral quickness to get the edge before getting vertical quickly to outrun the 2nd level of defenders. He has a good bounce to him which he uses to weave in and out of defenders in open space and maintains a lower center of gravity running through weak arm tackles. These last few weeks he’s been making a name for himself, be sure to keep an eye on him in the 2A State Championship game and during his senior campaign next season. Potentially can rise to NAIA caliber, currently sitting as a D3 speed back or can be moved to Slot WR.

#22 Karsen Hansen 22′ RB/LB 5’10 192
Mr. Hansen gets it done on both sides of the ball for Wilmington. On Offense, he finishes plays by keeping his feet driving to fight for extra yards and plays through the whistle. He’s mainly used as a lead blocker on offense where he latches onto the inside linebacker cutting off their flow to the ball and giving the ball carrier a seam to run through. On Defense, he works gap to gap and did a good job diagnosing the play to get an interception which he returned for a TD.
