Tri-Valley Started the game receiving the opening kick-off and had their drive stall inside their own 5-yard line being forced to punt. The snap went too high resulting in a Safety in Wilmington's Favor (Wilmington 2 Tri-Valley 0 10:24 left in the 1st). Wilmington's 22' RB [player_tooltip player_id="155141" first="Jacob" last="Friddle"] breaks a big run on their opening possession along the sideline going the distance for the TD (Wilmington 8 Tri-Valley 0 7:09 left in the 1st). Fast Forward to the end of the 1st Quarter and we see 23' RB Colin James break a long run for a TD (Wilmington 15 Tri-Valley 0 29 Seconds left in 1st). After Wilmington forced Tri-Valley to punt on their next drive, 23' RB Colin James punches in his 2nd TD of the night with this one coming from 1-yard out (Wilmington 22 Tri-Valley 0 7:50 left in 2nd). Tri-Valley was starting to move the ball downfield gaining momentum, there was a deep shot downfield that looked like it was a catch but was ruled incomplete stalling the momentum. The very next play 22' RB/LB Karsen Hansen intercepts the ball for a TD eliminating any momentum Tri-Valley had (Wilmington 29 Tri-Valley 0 4:34 left in 2nd). Tri-Valley marches down the field on their next drive where 22' QB [player_tooltip player_id="155039" first="Andrew" last="Petrilli"] finds 23' WR Grant Fatima on the fade route to get them on the board (Wilmington 29 Tri-Valley 7). Coming out of the half Wilmington marched down the field and capped off their drive with 22' RB [player_tooltip player_id="155141" first="Jacob" last="Friddle"]'s 2nd TD on the night from a few yards out (Wilmington 36 Tri-Valley 7 6:24 left in 3rd). Fast-forward to the middle of the 4th Quarter and we get to see 22' RB/LB Karsen Hansen punching it in from 2 yards out (Wilmington 42 Tri-Valley 7 6:18 left in 4th). The following drive, Tri-Vally marches down the field and caps off their drive with a pass from 22' QB [player_tooltip player_id="155039" first="Andrew" last="Petrilli"] to 22' WR Noah Streenz from around 35 yards out (Wilmington 42 Tri-Valley 14 4:53 left in 4th). This would be the score at the end of the game as Wilmington would run the clock out with the remaining time.

#34 Blake Regenold 23' RB/LB 6'2 190 Twitter
Mr. Regenold gets vertical quickly upon securing the handoff and has the vision to find the open hole quickly when running inside the tackles. On defense, he was able to work gap to gap in run support taking away a running lane from the opposing ball carrier. He had glimpses of his ability to break big runs, just wasn't able to break away from Wilmington's dominant defense. Be sure to keep an eye on this young man for Tri-Valley next season.

#13 [player_tooltip player_id="155039" first="Andrew" last="Petrilli"] 22' QB 5'11 185 Twitter
Mr. Petrilli is able to make in platform throws where he stays in the pocket to find his man downfield. This was seen on two occasions resulting in 2 passing TDs on the night. He does so by navigating the pocket well to evade pocket pressure and releases the ball with a touch on the deep ball finding his man for 6 each time. On quarterback design runs he follows his blocks between the tackles and looks for an open seam to take. He's a D3 caliber QB that currently has no offers from what I see.

#24 Noah Streenz 22' WR 5'9 165
Mr. Streenz does a good job of getting vertically upon securing the catch. He isn't going to consistently win his route over the top with speed, rather he does so with leverage and getting to the defender's toes before breaking his route off to create separation. On deep shots downfield, he attacks the ball at the highest point to come away with the contested catch (one for a big gain on the play and another for a late-game TD). This young man would fit well coming out of the slot in a D3 program that's looking for someone that understands how to manipulate defenders with leverage.

#10 Grant Fatima 23' WR 6'2 185
Mr. Fatima takes an outside release using leverage to win his route over the top by getting onto the defender's toes and tracks the ball in the air. Upon doing so, he attacks the ball at the highest point and climbs the ladder to secure the contested catch. This resulted in the first TD on the night for Tri-Valley giving his team momentum to carry late in the game. An interesting prospect here, currently a D3 caliber play but showed glimpses and potential of reaching a D2/NAIA caliber skillset (given further development).
#45 Brennan Thoele 23' DL 5'10 180
Mr. Thoele works gap to gap plugging up running lanes at the line of scrimmage throughout the night going up against Wilmington's dominant double-wing offense. He had moments when he would be off the ball, here he triggers downhill in close space to take on blocks head-on to plug the front side running lane.
