Every year, some of the top high school football prospects in the country come out of the peach state. It’s a state crazy about football, and each year we see Georgia natives exceed at both the collegiate and NFL level.
The state is loaded once again, and there are some in the 2027 class who already look like future D1 prospects. Prep Redzone Next was out seeing some top 2027 prospects on November 7th at the GFL tryouts.
CJ Frazier | Athlete
The most physically gifted 7
th grader at the GFL tryout two weeks ago, Frazier was going from group to group showing that he can make a big impact on both sides of the ball. Whether he’s carrying the football or tackling the ball-carrier, Frazier is a big, lean prospect with a ton of potential. He stood out in a big way over the weekend.
The offensive line group was a strong one as multiple young players performed well in drills and held their own throughout the try outs.
Offensive Line/Tight End Standouts
Another group that stood out was the receiver group. There were quite a few who impressed during drills and showed impressive ball skills for their age.
Wide Receiver Standouts
- Jerry Beard
- Jameer Cantrell
- Joel Bradford

At quarterback, 7
th grader
Elam Rahman stood out. He threw with nice touch and the ball looks great coming out of his hands. He knows what he’s doing and he made some really nice throws down the sideline during the tryout.
On the defensive line,
Christian Webb-Scott and
Joshua Echols stood out quickly.
The linebacker group was a strong one as well, and that group was led by
Jessuan Quero and
Eli Starr.
