Sectional Championship week is upon us. At this point in the postseason, quarterback play becomes that much more important. Today we take a look at the top passers remaining in the playoffs. We will look back at the seasons they have had so far and preview this week’s matchups. With a trophy on the line, these prospects will be ready to step up.

[player_tooltip player_id="39047" first="Brady" last="Allen"] has been running the Gibson Southern offense at a high level all season. He has formed a terrific combination with receiver [player_tooltip player_id="98101" first="Rory" last="Heltsley"]. Allen is 170/230 on the year with just under 2,900 passing yards. Allen is an incredible dual-threat playmaker who gives the defense something to worry about at all times. Gibson Southern will have a tough test this week at home against Heritage Hills.
[player_tooltip player_id="107258" first="Christian" last="Johnson"], 6’1, 195 pounds, Parke Heritage
[player_tooltip player_id="107258" first="Christian" last="Johnson"] has been immense in helping get Parke Heritage to this point. Their chances of progressing further will be aided with a great performance this week and Johnson is certainly capable. This season, he is 184/220 through the air. That high completion percentage keeps the offense moving. He has racked up 2,820 passing yards. On top of that, Johnson is a big threat on the ground. His ability to make plays with both his arm and his legs puts pressure on the opposing defense. This week, Parke Heritage faces Riverton Park with a ticket to Regionals on the line.
[player_tooltip player_id="98010" first="Clark" last="Barrett"], 6’5, 215 pounds, Lafayette Central Catholic
[player_tooltip player_id="98010" first="Clark" last="Barrett"] is a great passer who has outstanding pocket presence. He is very composed and he can always find the open receiver. Barrett is an impressive 175/288 through the air with 2,800 passing yards. He is an incredibly accurate quarterback who can pace the teams passing game. Lafayette Central Catholic will face a huge road test this week at Speedway.
[player_tooltip player_id="98092" first="Carson" last="Clark"], 6’2, 185 pounds, Bishop Luers
One of the most intriguing matchups of the week will be in Fort Wayne, when Bishop Luers plays host to Eastside. The Knights are riding a one-loss regular season, where the offense- led by [player_tooltip player_id="98092" first="Carson" last="Clark"]- has been outstanding. Clark has conpleted 175 of his 256 pass attempts. He has accumulated a terrific 2,745 passing yards. Clark is a quarterback who can manage an offense very well.
