Tipp City Red Devils
Liam Poronsky QB 5’11 178 lbs. ℅ 23. Poronsky had his best game of the season, passing the ball for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns, and only 1 interception. Liam stands tall in the pocket and delivers the ball with decent accuracy. Does a nice job getting his shoulders square and keeping his eyes downfield when rolling out. As a runner, he is decisive and get’s upfield quickly.
Cayd Everhart RB/LB 5’11 183 lbs. ℅ 22. Posted 4.6 40 yard dash. Everhart was solid on Friday, rushing for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns on 23 attempts. He averaged 5.0 yards per carry which helped keep the Red Devil offense in manageable down-and-distance situations. Defensively, he contributed 14 tackles (9 solos) and was a thorn in the side of the Alter Knights. As a Running Back, Cayd is a plodder that squares his shoulders and uses leg drive to break tackles. At the linebacker position, he’s a sideline to sideline player. Reads and Reacts well. Is a decent tackler as well.
Gavin Garlitz WR/DB 6’1 172 lbs. ℅ 22. Posted 4.55 40 yard dash. Garlitz turned in his best game of the season when his team needed him most. Had 144 yards receiving catching 10 passes and 1 touchdown. Gavin consistently ran by the Knight defensive backs! He displayed decent route running ability and adjusted well when the Quarterback scrambled. His best catch of the night was on a scramble in which he broke off his route and worked downfield making a beautiful sideline grab. Alter was not able to Press Garlitz as he demonstrated solid release technique routinely.
Alter Knights
C.J. Hicks LB 6’4 220 lbs. c/o 22. There is a reason this kid’s going to THE Ohio State University! He’s a Five Star Height, Weight, Speed Combination. Reads and Reacts with a burst to the ball carrier. Makes plays all over the field(Recorded an Interception vs. Tipp City playing Safety) Start/Stop ability is Good. Shows Strength to stop the ball carrier at the point of attack. Pursuit is Good. Uses length to run down ball carriers with ease. Takes proper angles to the football.
Chase Stone Chase Stone 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB Archbishop Alter | 2022 OH RB/DB 5’10 185 lbs. ℅ 22. Stone has good acceleration. Bursts through holes with ease. Vision is solid, anticipates openings very well. Will run through arm tackles routinely. Is very elusive. Posted 4.4 40 yard dash and runs away from defenders routinely. Will also make catches out of the backfield with soft hands. Chase is an all-around polished Running Back.
