Quarter Finals
Bennington stuffed Waverly 41-0 ending the Vikings hopes for state, Elkhorn beat back Seward 35-20 to move on. Plattsmouth got surprised by Skutt Catholic with the Skyhawks beating them back 20-10. Scottsbluff has a rematch against Aurora this time wouldn’t be much different with the Huskies winning 34-14.
Semi-Finals
Bennington really did control their own destiny in these playoffs, They would take on the Elkhorn Antlers and keep them to a low score winning 28-7. Skutt and Aurora would have a close battle but the Huskies would pull out winning 21-17.
State Championship
The Class B State Championship will be between the Aurora Huskies and the Bennington Badgers. Historically Aurora is consistent having been to the state championship 8 times since the beginning of the NSAA, overall the Huskies are 3-5 but are 2-2 since 2000. Bennington has not been to state since 1989 when they beat Sutton 29-20. The Huskies have been pretty dominant this season.
