The second round of the playoffs is in the books! Continuing our series from the regular season, every Sunday during the playoffs, we’ll look at some of the top performances from across the state. This week, we recap some of the top performances from the second round of the playoffs. In 6A-1, they are now in the championship round. For 5A, 4A and 3A, it’s semifinal week. And finally 2A and A are in the quarterfinal round. Check back each Sunday to see who some of the best of the best were from the week that was in high school football.

has definitely been one of the biggest breakout stars from this season and he’s continuing that in the playoffs. Rejoice absolutely dismantled a visiting Antlers team with a 62-0 on Friday night. Wilson was nearly perfect once again throwing the ball as he finished with 242 yards and five touchdowns with just four incompletions. He also added 62 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Rejoice will host top ranked Washington which will be one of the top games this week.

as the Warriors took out Jones for the second straight year in the playoff. The Warriors dominated this game with a 52-21 victory and the running game did most of the damage. Scott finished with 40 carries on the night for 259 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. Scott and the Warriors are hungry to make it back to the state championship game and they took the next step to a return trip to Edmond.

. The Elks traveled (literally) across the state to Grove and took down the district champion Ridgerunners behind another big game from Thompson. The senior running back and SWOSU commit finished with well over 250 yards and a touchdown on the ground as the Elks are headed to the semifinal round where they get a rematch with district rival Clinton.

It was a showdown between two stout defenses as McAlester hosted Guthrie on Friday and the Buffaloes punched their ticket to the semifinals with a 27-21 win. McAlester once again relied on star junior running back

It’s pretty obvious who the MVP of Marlow’s 38-7 win over Chandler was on Friday night. It was the senior standout who literally helped score every point in their second round win. Senior Jace Gilbert Jace Gilbert 6'2" | 205 lbs | K Marlow | 2022 State OK threw three touchdowns and also ran for two touchdowns. And in case you didn’t already know, Gilbert is rated as the top kicker in Oklahoma and was a perfect 5-5 on PAT’s and also added a field goal in the win. The Outlaws punched their ticket to the quarterfinal round where they’ll head to Tulsa to take on Cascia Hall.

, who lit up Colcord throughout the night in the passing game. Drummond finished with over 450 yards and four touchdown while completing 80 percent of his passes. As if that wasn’t enough, he also added two touchdowns on the ground as Pawhuska moved on to the quarterfinals. The Huskies travel to Elmore City in the next round.

added his name to the Charger record books with his performance in their 56-25 win over Berryhill on Friday night. Paque finished the quarterfinal victory with just over 400 yards and six touchdowns with just four incompletions on the night. The Chargers absolutely rolled as their offense once again could not be slowed down. This sets up a 1 VS 2 match-up in the semifinals yet again as the Chargers will take on top ranked Lincoln Christian in the semifinals for the fourth straight year.
