The numbers Dutch Fork are currently putting on the scoreboard are more like video game numbers than what you see from a high school football team.
The five-time Class 5A defending state champions ran their unbeaten streak to 56 games with a dominating 69-21 victory over Chapin Friday night at a rain-soaked Cecil Woolbright Field. The numbers and standouts in this game were just as impressive as what they have been all season.
The Silver Foxes have not punted in the last four games and are averaging 58.8 points a game and 532 yards per contest.
The two biggest contributors – [player_tooltip player_id="91136" first="Jarvis" last="Green"] and [player_tooltip player_id="61070" first="Antonio" last="Williams"] – were at it again Friday night. Green, a junior running back who surprisingly does not have any offers yet, ran for 149 yards and five touchdowns on just 12 carries. He scored on runs of 3, 30, 12, 34 and 9 yards. In his last two games, Green has 330 yards rushing and nine touchdowns on 21 carries.
While Green was the steady force, Williams went for the spectacular. Williams had punt returns of 83 and 87 yards for touchdowns and finished the night with 358 all-purpose yards. On both of his returns, he made guys miss at the point of catching the ball then got behind a wall of blockers to race untouched to the end zone.
Throw in the fact quarterback Davin Patterson finished 12-of-12 for 219 yards with a passing touchdown and a rushing score shows why the Silver Foxes offense has been nearly unstoppable.
Other notes:

While the offense is getting most of the accolades now, the Silver Foxes defense has been more than solid. The linebacker tandem of [player_tooltip player_id="214159" first="Cj" last="Wicker"] and [player_tooltip player_id="132398" first="Chandler" last="Perry"] are as good as any in the state. Junior safety Landon Danley looks to be another player that has a chance to play on the next level. Add in defensive linemen Alex Johnson and Kevon Nixon, and Dutch Fork is talented on that side of the ball as well.

Backup running backs Maurice McQuire and Braxton Lodge were impressive in limited action. McQuire finished with four carries for 65 yards while Lodge had eight carries for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Chapin quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="139289" first="Jayden" last="Bradford"] might have had his best outing of the season. And he did a lot of it without his top two weapons in running back [player_tooltip player_id="89315" first="Bennett" last="Galloway"] and wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="59482" first="Zavier" last="Short"]. Bradford was 17-of-30 for 230 yards and one score. He also added 66 yards on the ground and another touchdown. More importantly, he protected the ball and didn’t have any turnovers.

Short was on his way to a big night but left late in the first quarter for precautionary reasons. He had six catches for 70 yards at that point. Galloway was injured in the third quarter. He finished with 36 yards and one score.

With the top two weapons out, that allowed tight end Yates Bland and receiver Zion Wallace more opportunities. Bland had five receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. Wallace snagged three catches for 86 yards.
