Week 7 Game Balls: York, Lancaster Counties and Around The State

Region play continued on Friday night and while there were weather postponements around the state, most games were played without any issues. There were some spectacular performances, including a local running back who is starting to find his stride, a game where 153 combined points were scored and a quarterback who is performing at a high level and already has Division 1 interest. <ul> <li aria-level="1">2022 Lancaster DT/LB [player_tooltip player_id="200706" first="Fred" last="Twitty"] <a href="https://twitter.com/FredTwitty1">(@FredTwitty1)</a> demonstrated an ability to be active at the defensive tackle position, even in a loss to South Pointe on Friday night. He can take on one-on-one blocks and defeat them. He will either limit the gain or chase down the ball carrier with his motor that’s always running. He possesses all the tools you’re looking for in a quarterback: Size, speed and impressive arm strength. The delivery on the throws is precise, and he can make something happen with his feet to keep plays alive.
