El Camino Real is heating up and has won two of its last three games. Feinberg was almost perfect for the Royals in a 49-14 win over Taft. The senior completed 17 of 18 passes for 337 yards and six touchdowns. The 337 yards are a season-high for Feinberg, but he is having a nice season. He’s completed 68 percent of his passes for 1,776 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Noah Fifita Noah Fifita 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Servite | 2022 State CA , Servite, 2022
Servite came out on the losing end against Mater Dei but the name that came up a lot in postgame conversations was Fifita. Mater Dei coach Bruce Rollinson called him “the engine” of the Servite offense. The Arizona commit had 340 yards passing and two touchdowns. He also had a highlight reel play where he escaped a sack and ran 25 yards for a first down. He was very poised and a true leader on the field.

Trey Kukuk, Capistrano Valley, 2023
Kukuk has gotten a lot of media praise this week and deservedly so. The junior broke the Orange County single game passing record by throwing for 615 yards and had six touchdowns in a 59=56 win against Trabuco Hills. He also ran for two touchdowns. Kukuk’s mobility makes the defense keep a spy on him which means one less defender in the secondary. He is a very polished junior and it will be interesting to see how his recruiting goes this summer.
Capistrano Valley QB Trey Kukuk had a memorable night Friday for a lot of reasons, including this game-winning TD pass to Dane Benedix in the final seconds.

Brandon Rose Brandon Rose 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Murrieta Valley | 2022 State CA , Murrieta Valley, 2022
Murrieta Valley beat crosstown rival Vista Murrieta in an epic 49-48 game last week. Rose, a Utah commit was instrumental for the Nighthawks in the win. The senior completed 25 of 39 passes for 442 yards and six touchdowns. The 442 yards is a career-high for Rose, breaking a previous career-high of 430 he had against Great Oaks three weeks ago.

Tobey Schmidt Tobey Schmidt 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Marantha | 2022 CA , Tustin, 2022
Schmidt arrived at Tustin this summer after playing his first two seasons at Mater Dei and the spring season at Maranatha. At the time I said that he was the best quarterback Tustin has had in recent memory. Schmidt shattered the school’s single game passing record by throwing for 507 yards with six touchdowns in a 51-31 win over Valencia of Placentia. Tustin is a program that had a history of running a Wing T offense for years and now Schmidt is there and the offense has opened up. Schmidt would be a good late steal for an FCS school.
