DE: Asani Redwood, 6’3, 227, Collins Hill
A twitchy pass rusher with active hands and good bend off the edge. Redwood can sink his hips low to the ground and uses a slippery rip move to evade opposing pass sets. He’s a high effort prospect who will look for work until the whistle is blown. He shows a quality bull rush to go with an impressive push-pull.
RB: Justin Thomas, 5’11”, 175, Benedictine
This Georgia baseball commit could have a future in football as well. Thomas is a burner equipped with great burst and vision. He’s a physical back that will violently throw opposing tacklers off of him that get in his way. His subtle cuts and change in speed cause defenders to over-pursue and give him an easy cutback lane.
WR: Joshua Thompson, 6′, 170, Johns Creek
On tape, Thompson shows outstanding shake and contact balance. The ideal build-up speed you look for in an x receiver is evident. His deep ball tracking ability is beyond his years and something that he often uses to make his quarterback look right. He can even provide value on special teams as well and is highly skilled at the art of blocking punts.
LB: Lassana Simaga, 6’1″, 195, Central Gwinnett
Simaga displayed a quick trigger once reading run and noticeable closing speed. He can fight through blocks on the interior and looks to deliver the boom on opposing ball carriers. As a pass rusher, he gets skinny through the hole on blitzes and can cause serious disruption on drop-back passing concepts.
WR: Bailey Dameron, 6′, 165, Dawson County
A silky smooth route runner who feasts on press coverage. Dameron is dynamite after the catch and will gash opposing defensive who allow him to get into the open field. Dameron has the ability to play on the inside or outside and can make plays with defenders draped all over him. He’s as sure-handed as they come and can make tough catches on underthrown balls.
LB: Vincent Hill, 6’2″, 220, Creekside
A tough mike linebacker prospect with a high football IQ. Hill is consistent in zone coverage and can make plays on the ball, dropping to his hook/curl responsibilities. He uses God-given strength to muscle through back’s pass protection and will scratch & claw to get to the quarterback. Hill does a good job rolling his hips and speeding his feet on contact, causing vicious collisions.
