Some receivers across the state stepped up and showcased what they're all about this week, turning heads and putting up some clutch performances. Here's a look at the top 5 pass catchers of the week:
<strong>Tanner Barbour</strong>, <em>WR, Pullman '23<img class="size-medium wp-image-24526 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2020/06/Generic-Featured-Image-3-300x187.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="187" /></em>
Barbour had a huge night as he hauled in 7 receptions for 207 yards and 2 TD’s on the 35-21 win vs West Valley. A clear mismatch all night as he was frequently open and made himself a clear and easy target throughout the night. Huge performance for the junior.
<strong>Connor Dow</strong>, <em>WR, Shorecrest '22</em>
Despite the 20-18 loss to Lynwood, Dow was still able to have a productive day as he logged 9 catches for 150 yards and 2 TD’s. Dow possesses good balance after the catch, and I love his demeanor and willingness to fight for extra yards as he is not willing to go down. He was solid on hitches and posts throughout the night, and did a god job extending and tracking the ball in on about a 22 yard TD.

Beaver snagged 8 receptions for 136 yards and a TD against Prairie to help Skyview secure the 35-12 W. Another mismatch all night, Beaver does a good job manipulating DB's and taking advantage of leverage. Good route runner with a nice burst at the top of his route, and was able to generate clear separation all night. Impressive performance from Beaver.
<strong>Luke Lavigne</strong>, <em>WR, Bainbridge '23<img class="size-medium wp-image-201305 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2021/09/central-300x229.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="229" /></em>
Lavigne has been a touchdown machine all year, and nothing changed this week as he logged 4 receptions for 75 yards and 3 TD’s on the blowout win vs Kingston. I really like Lavigne's length and frame at 6'4" 185lbs, as he already looks like a college ready X or Z. He flashed explosiveness at the top of routes to be able to get over the top of defenses, and possesses soft hands with a large catch radius.
[player_tooltip player_id="151892" first="AIden" last="Prado"], <em>WR, Mt. Spokane '22</em>
Prado hauled in just 3 catches, but they were big ones as he totaled 106 yards and 2 TD’s to go with it to contribute to the 27-0 win over Lewis and Clark. He showed creativity with his route running on a 55 yard post for a TD to give slight delay, use his hips to manipulate DB's along with a quick head fake, and then burst and accelerate out of his stick to get over the top of a cover-2 shell for six.
