Standout Performances
Avondale ’22 RB D’Angelo Harris D’Angelo Harris 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Avondale | 2022 MI : This man went off during Friday’s contest against Royal Oak racking up 167 rushing yards on just 6 carries, plus 79 return yards totaling a whopping 246 all-purpose yards. Harris demonstrated great vision and elusiveness often finding just the right holes to burst through.
West Bloomfield ’24 QB Reqez Nance: The stat sheet doesn’t explode, but the Sophomore had himself a great day against some very good competition. Totaling 3TD’s, Nance is showing why he’s the quarterback of the present and future for the defending state champions. I’m very excited to see how he improves this offseason.
Seaholm ’24 WR/RB Kyle Robbins: This stat line is incredible. 5 critical pass breakups, 1 INT, a one-handed catch TD, and 2 rushing TD’s. Kyle Robbins had himself an absolute monster game propelling the Maples for their first win of the season. The Sophomore is just one of many rising stars on this Maples team, and it’s going to be fun to watch the improvement from this year to next.
Rochester ’23 QB Alex Bueno: This is a QB that took the OAA Blue by storm last season propelling Rochester to a league championship, and being moved to the OAA White. Against great competition, Bueno yet again showed out. The dual-threat QB ran for 2 TD’s and passed for 1, and he was running all over the field delivering accurate balls propelling Rochester to a 23-22 win over Oak Park. Bueno is a talent worth watching this offseason, and I’m excited to see this team in the postseason.
