Northern California: Week 7 Impressive Offensive Performances

As the football season is nearing the end of the regular season and the start of the playoffs, Week 7 across the region offered some big time performances from many different players on both sides of the ball. Below, we will breakdown and list some of these performances and note prospects to keep a close eye on.

  Kai Hall Kai Hall 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB St. Vincent de Paul | 2023 State CA , St. Vincent de Paul HS Hall has had a solid Junior season thus far for the 6-0 Mustangs and the 2019 NCS Freshman of the Year is poised for a big week coming up in what should be one of the best NBL showdowns of the season. Last week against Piner, he put up big time numbers rushing 8 times for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns including a kick returned for a score and a few long runs and a touchdown called back due to penalties. The #1 seeded Mustangs will continue to lean on the explosive and talented back as they look to go deep into the NCS playoffs.   William Moffitt, Half Moon Bay HS Moffitt is a tough and physical runner that is very efficient running the option offense and rarely makes mistakes. He does a great job at accelerating through tight windows while able to make defenders miss in open space. He is a patient runner that waits for his blocks to develop and flashes sneaky third level speed in the open field. A system player, he without a doubt has D-III caliber abilities at the next level.   Taeshaun Lyons, Tennyson HS A very dynamic player that can lineup in multiple spots, Lyons has the ability to make big plays every time he touches the ball and offers nice length and long speed. Smooth in space, he shows quick lateral movement abilities while able to stick his toe in the ground and get vertical quickly while making contested catches over the top and able to make something out of nothing with the ball in his hands. Also a dynamic returner and very sound corner, it will not be long before colleges start showing interest on this Bay Area prospect.   Other Top Players...
