Friday's Week 7 Missouri football action featured another great collection of games, team and individual performances.
Here is a quick look at some of the St. Louis area performances that stood out:
<strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id="207474" first="Jack" last="Ahlbrand"], 6-1, 190, Marquette, 2023</strong>
Ahlbrand completed eight of 16 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a career-high 82 yards and two scores as the visiting Mustangs defeated Kirkwood 34-14. Ahlbrand has thrown for 1,191 yards and 15 touchdowns (against three interceptions) in seven games. He also has five rushing touchdowns. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207477" first="Gavin" last="Marsh"]</strong> caught four passes for 122 yards and a touchdown, his fourth 100-plus yard receiving performance in five games. He now has 25 catches for 698 yards and nine touchdowns.
<strong>QB Jett Bridges, Park Hills Central, 2022</strong>
Bridges completed 14 of 18 passes for 419 yards and five touchdowns in Central’s 61-0 win over Fredericktown. He has now thrown for 1,726 and 19 touchdowns (against two interceptions) in seven games.
<strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id="37540" first="Aaron" last="Coffey"], 6-5, 225, Lutheran-St. Charles, 2022</strong>
Coffey completed 10 of 16 passes for 404 yards and five touchdowns in the Cougars’ 49-7 win at Quincy (Ill.) Notre Dame. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="172016" first="Michael" last="Parr Jr"]</strong> caught three passes for 133 yards and a touchdown and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171963" first="Kaleb" last="Mays"]</strong> caught three passes for 113 yards and two scores.
<strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="101710" first="Keshawn" last="Ford"], 5-11, 190, De Smet, 2023</strong>
Ford has been a difference maker for the Spartans after transferring from Trinity. He scored three touchdowns on Friday, including a 26-yarder late in the fourth quarter, to help De Smet defeat visiting Rockhurst 28-14.
<strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="96764" first="Jay" last="Harris"], 6-2, 200, Timberland, 2022</strong>
Harris racked up 313 total yards and four touchdowns in Timberland’s 49-42 win over Fort Zumwalt West. Harris, one of the top uncommitted prospects in Missouri’s senior class, rushed 26 times for 257 yards and three touchdowns and caught three passes for 56 yards and another score. He now has 1,175 total yards (972 rushing, 203 receiving) and 19 touchdowns in seven games.
<strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id="37608" first="Patrick" last="Heitert"], 6-0, 185, CBC, 2022</strong>
Heitert completed 24 of 39 passes for 279 yards and a touchdown and ran for 63 yards and a score on 12 carries to lead CBC to a 48-14 win at Chaminade. Heitert’s favorite target on Friday, junior Division I prospect <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="99471" first="Dakotah" last="Mayo"]</strong>, finished with nine receptions for 103 yards. Heitert, who recently picked up an offer from Southeast Missouri State, is one of the top uncommitted quarterbacks in Missouri.
<strong>WR-DB [player_tooltip player_id="215081" first="Terran" last="Mitchell"], 5-7, 140, Affton, 2023</strong>
Mitchell caught eight passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns and added 10 tackles in Affton’s 40-32 win at North Point (Wentzville). For the season, Mitchell has 38 receptions for 435 yards and five total touchdowns, including two on returns.
<strong>ATH [player_tooltip player_id="101693" first="Jackson" last="Overton"], 5-7, 155, St. Dominic, 2023</strong>
Overton tallied a season-high 212 total yards and scored four touchdowns — breaking the school’s career touchdown record in the process — in the Crusaders’ 54-14 win against visiting St. Francis Borgia. Overton carried 12 times for 118 yards and three touchdowns and caught three passes for 94 yards and a score. He now has 14 touchdowns this season and 37 in his three-year varsity career after scoring 15 a year ago and eight as a freshman. St. Dominic junior QB Kelly Welby threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns (against one interception) and junior WR-CB [player_tooltip player_id="172148" first="Matthew" last="Willenbrink"] caught three passes for 111 yards and a score and added a kickoff return touchdown.
<strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="214398" first="Makai" last="Parton"], 6-0, 200, Pacific, 2022</strong>
Parton racked up 209 total yards and scored four touchdowns in Pacific’s 35-32 loss at Festus. He carried 19 times for 139 yards and four touchdowns and caught three passes for 70 yards. Parton is now up to 1,190 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns in seven games this season. He’s been one of the breakout players in Missouri this fall.
<strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id="215090" first="AJ" last="Raines"], 6-0, 160, Timberland, 2023</strong>
Raines threw three touchdown passes and ran for another in a 28-point fourth quarter outburst that helped the Wolves defeat Fort Zumwalt West 49-42. Raines completed 10 of 22 passes for 172 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 109 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
<strong>WR [player_tooltip player_id="37652" first="Jackson" last="Smith"], Holt, 2022</strong>
Smith ran for two touchdowns and caught the game-winning touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter as Holt defeated Troy Buchanan 28-24 in a battle of two of the better teams in the state. Holt improved to 7-0.
<strong>RB-LB [player_tooltip player_id="215092" first="Chase" last="Viehland"], 5-7, 200, Northwest Cedar Hill, 2023</strong>
Viehland powered Northwest to an 8-7 victory over Parkway South. He carried 38 times for 189 yards and a touchdown and his 2-point conversion run following the touchdown early in the second quarter made the difference. He also racked up a team-high eight tackles. In seven games this fall, Viehland has 950 yards rushing and seven touchdowns.
<strong>ATH [player_tooltip player_id="37693" first="Quaran" last="Williams"], 6-1, 205, Parkway North, 2023 </strong>
Williams carried 17 times for 205 yards and four touchdowns in Parkway North’s 41-21 win at Parkway Central. All four of Williams’ touchdowns came in the second half as the Vikings rallied from an early deficit to run away with the 20-point win. Williams, playing quarterback, also threw for 51 yards but was intercepted twice. The junior quarterback has now rushed for 654 yards and 18 touchdowns in seven games.
