Huntley’s season record: 33-12
Edison vs. Los Alamitos
Analysis: This the Sunset League championship game. Los Alamitos has the star power advantage in this one. [player_tooltip player_id="25419" first="Malachi" last="Nelson"], [player_tooltip player_id="25398" first="Makai" last="Lemon"] and [player_tooltip player_id="190270" first="DeAndre" last="Moore"]. The Griffins have a lot of talent up front too with [player_tooltip player_id="141956" first="Adam" last="Tomczyk"], [player_tooltip player_id="141963" first="David" last="Main"], [player_tooltip player_id="187300" first="Cash" last="Koepke"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25362" first="Sinn" last="Brennan"]. Edison has played a really tough schedule up to this point and they are finally healthy. Parker Awad has been hot at quarterback and [player_tooltip player_id="43679" first="Tyler" last="Gioia"] is back from injury. [player_tooltip player_id="143118" first="Nico" last="Brown"] is a good enough athlete to hang with the Los Al guys and Edison is a well-coached and disciplined, but I don’t know if they have the talent to win this one.

Santa Margarita vs. Servite
Analysis: Servite is a top 3 team in the state and is firing on all cylinders right now. [player_tooltip player_id="25286" first="Noah" last="Fifita"] is deadly accurate, [player_tooltip player_id="25227" first="Tetairoa" last="McMillan"] is impossible to cover and [player_tooltip player_id="187307" first="Houston" last="Thomas"] is a great running back. Santa Margarita is coming off a nice win against JSerra but they forced five turnovers and will not be able to do that against Servite. [player_tooltip player_id="25428" first="Jaxon" last="Potter"] is coming into his own as a quarterback and they have some talent at the defensive skill positions and has [player_tooltip player_id="141878" first="Hero" last="Kanu"] up front. This one won’t be particularly competitive though.

Mission Viejo vs. Helix
Analysis: Mission Viejo is coming off a major win against Sierra Canyon. The Diablos defense, led by Jake Higgins, Trey Tolmaire and Daniel Dominguez were lights out and only allowed one good drive. [player_tooltip player_id="25441" first="Kadin" last="Semonza"] wasn’t at his best but he made plays when he needed to and will take better care of the ball from now on. [player_tooltip player_id="190360" first="Jackson" last="Holman"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25408" first="Mikey" last="Matthews"] are great receivers for the Diablos. Helix has a good running game with [player_tooltip player_id="25345" first="Christian" last="Washington"] but Mission Viejo can stop the run. [player_tooltip player_id="142012" first="Xavier" last="Van"] is athletic enough to hang with the Diablos but are the other Helix skill guys good enough?
The pick: Mission Viejo

Capistrano Valley vs. San Juan Hills
Analysis: This is a tough game in Orange County to pick. San Juan Hills got its first win against previously undefeated El Toro last week. Michael Tollefson has emerged as an elite freshman quarterback and freshman [player_tooltip player_id="155848" first="Weston" last="Port"] is the next big pass rushing prospect. [player_tooltip player_id="141899" first="Braden" last="Pegan"] is a threat for a 200 yard game at any time and [player_tooltip player_id="143139" first="Cole" last="Monach"] can get open whenever he wants. Capo Valley is coming off a bye and puts up numbers on offense with quarterback Trey Kukuk. [player_tooltip player_id="45038" first="Dane" last="Benedix"] is a playmaker and Owen Taylor can break tackles as well. Capo Valley should win the Sea View League but San Juan Hills just blewout the second best Sea View team.
The pick: San Juan Hills
Torrey Pines vs. El Camino
Analysis: Torrey Pines nearly upset Carlsbad last week and it took a walk-off touchdown to beat them. Remi Baere has become an efficient and effective quarterback for Torrey Pines. Easton Clements is a big play threat at running back and Wyatt Gardner is one of the more underrated players in San Diego. Kiah Reid is one of my favorite quarterbacks in San Diego and El Camino is always competitive with him at the helm. El Camino has good wins against Eastlake and St. Augustine, but is coming off a tough loss to La Costa Canyon.
The pick: Torrey Pines
