Fort Wayne Offensive Standouts: Week 9 Part 2

We’re highlighting some of the best offensive players from Fort Wayne from this past week. Carson Hoeppner - Leo - RB - 5’8" 165 lbs In a game that was all mud and running Hoeppner stood out. Granted, everyone was covered in mud so it was hard to tell who was who later in the game. But, none of that stopped him from having a good game. He rushed the ball over 20 times and found the endzone early in the game as well. He finished with over 100-yards and no turnovers. The turnover battle was key in this game because the ball was wet and holding onto it was a win. [player_tooltip player_id="120889" first="Nick" last="Munson"] - East Noble - WR - 5’10" 185 lbs East Noble likes to work Munson out of the slot and he delivers all game. He’s able to run just about any route in the route tree and he’s always open it seems. He had one catch where he broke 6 tackles, weaved through the defense, and found the endzone. He was a man on a mission with the ball in his hands on Friday. He finished the game with over 150-yards and his TD. Ethan Nickles - East Noble - WR - 5’10" 170 lbs The WR duo was on fire Friday. You can’t cover both so you have to pick and choose who is going to beat you. The problem is both will still beat you. The lined Nickles up in the backfield, he took an outside zone, got the corner, and found the endzone just for some extra added measure. He finished the game with over 100-yards and a TD. Keagan Landrum - Huntington North - QB - 6’1" 155 lbs Landrum is a dual-threat QB who is going to force you into a decision. He’s able to find the hole anytime he runs and is always picking up positive yardage. He had a rushing TD on the evening to add to TDs total. He finished the game with over 250 scrimmage yards and his TD. Huntington North would go on to lose but it wasn’t because Landrum came up short. Jakar Williams - New Haven - QB - 6’3" 190 lbs Williams is another dual-threat QB who is going to make you pay if you don’t leave a spy defender on him. He’s got a big arm and can chuck the ball 60+ yards if you need him to. He doesn’t have the prettiest mechanics but it is nothing major. He led New Haven to a season-high 57 points on their way to another win. Williams had 4 total TDs on the night as well.
