One of the top games across the entire state for this season, two of the most respected and well-put together programs will go head to head in Folsom this Friday night. Both rosters have tons of Power Five and Mid-Major talent on both sides of the ball with the likes of Folsom’s [player_tooltip player_id="25378" first="Rico" last="Flores"], [player_tooltip player_id="190344" first="Greco" last="Carrillo"], [player_tooltip player_id="144958" first="Walker" last="Lyons"], [player_tooltip player_id="141911" first="Justin" last="Eklund"] and [player_tooltip player_id="145209" first="Mason" last="Norberg"], among others. Although these prospects will have huge nights and play a big role in this matchup, there are plenty of others we will preview that will play a big part in who wins this game on each respective side.

TE/LB Lucas Wolfe
Wolfe is one of the toughest and most physical athletes the entire region has to offer and never leaves the field for one of the top teams in the state. He can rush the passer, play in space and displays strong hands in traffic while always around the ball making big plays. He plays a key piece in the Bulldog’s scheme and should be very effective in the box playing downhill against this Spartan attack.
RB Donovan Parler
A very under-rated back, Parler is balanced and can also catch the ball out of the backfield while a very effective runner in-between the tackles and also athletic enough to jump it outside and turn the corner. Shifty in traffic, he has good first level acceleration and can make defenders miss in the open field while showing good vision through the hole while adding cutback ability.
OL/DL [player_tooltip player_id="147759" first="Lucas" last="Hardeman"]
Although a bit undersized, Hardeman is a true technician in the trenches and started for Folsom as a Freshman in the Spring season. Very athletic, he can block in space/pull effectively while playing with a quick punch and inside hand placement while driving with a good base and finishing blocks on the first and second level. He is patient in pass protection, does not lunge and waits for rushers while performing well timed strikes and anchoring against power rush moves. He is by far one of the best 2024 OL in the region.
